No, after hundreds of tests together with Jan examining all the lights options, angles, positions, gimbals, brightness, colors, plus other stuff this is the best positions in order not to light the pit and to realistically reflect external light effects. If someday devs find a way to prevent such light anomalies passing through model objects, the reflections effects can be vastly improved towards reality.
