Oh excellent thank you kind sir!
Is there a way to print the commands out>?

There is the possibility to export the profile to a HTML file but it will show the spoken commands with all the variables. Not really useful, especially when for example all callsigns are embedded in the command lines. As far as I know thatās the only way to print the profile.

Well, my script is called Notepad++ and is based on a lot of patience

Mower: have a look at the first word and last command, everything in between is optional but useful for me in online flights. So āground request taxiā or āground gambler 1 four ship f16 request/is taxiā are equivalent. Furthermore tanker and awacs can be addressed without callsign. The only deviations in voice commands from the ingame menu commands are in the ground and approach sections so have a look at those, the rest should be reasonably easy to memorize.

First of all: thank you Easy for all your work. Iām a first time Voice Attack user and greatly appreciating your profile, as it allowed me to enjoy interacting with the AI like never before ā¦ without the hassle of creating my own profile.
However, Iāve found that the profile is off when calling number 2 to fence out. In that case the āgo wedgeā command is initiated. Fence out calls to flight or element are working fine though. Correcting such a minor error shouldnāt be a problem, but Iām getting the same OOM error gza encountered too. Happens everytime Iām trying to save my edit. Do you (or somebody else knowledegable) have any idea whatās causing the problem?

[emoji1][emoji1]OH so you literally just open with notepad++ and ctrl+F replace all, for every callsign? Haha thatās what Iāve been doing before every mission, slowly building my ālibrary.ā
Thatās just not ideal in case I wanted to go back and change something later. Iām sure thereās some automated script or batch file that could be created to do itā¦. -

Itās just a limitation of the program, youāre asking it to generate too many commands. The only way to fix it is to lighten the load, fewer variations.
For instance when is the last time you talked to a Chalice 9? Maybe just Chalice [1ā¦4] will be good. Iāve never been Cowboy 7-1, etc.
I conceded to using one profile per callsign. -

Thanks for spotting that one EggsNFries, fixed. Itās too bad but indeed, editing is a pain in the UI with this profile (common callsigns, single should be fine), the only way to do it is with a text editor at the moment. Itās strange thoughā¦ āonlyā 1 GB RAM usage, although heavy, thereās no real reason I can see why this one canāt be edited. Maybe I should contact the VA devs to see whatās going on.

Hello Easy,
Thank you for your great profile. Unfortunately I discovered an error with the element commands:
You probably did the profile based on the manual. This does not match the simulation.
I tried to adjust your profile accordingly, but got an error message:Regards

Yep, very nice profile, thanks again.

Nice find MadDoc, I did indeed take all the menuās from the Nav/Comms Manual. The only differences I could find between the ingame menu and the manual are the element commands.
This is now fixed, and as gza suggested I also simplified the common callsign script up to the point that the error messages should be gone now.I also made a little script to quickly copy multiple to other callsign files and added a function that will allow voice activated switching of profile to whichever callsign. see post #1

Many thanks.
Iāll download and test it this evening.Regards

Best Iāve found yet, thanks Easy. Why did you choose to make a script for PTT rather than just creating separate commands for press and release?
-
Not sure I understand your question but a script was and maybe still is the only way to have multiple PTT keys, it was made a while ago. I recall also that recognizing āholdedā mapped buttons from foxy(cougar software) to home and end keys couldnāt be done any other way. I think itās DX proof too but I havenāt checked.

Abelian did some programming magic on the callsign script
https://drive.google.com/open?id=17MKFd1AFMQepWG8-zxZwwk3kYEBpeLp1
edit with notepad++ to set the filenames, etc
Then it will produce all the profiles and zip them up in a .vax automatically
-
Does that script introduce a new profile for each Callsign?
-
Thanks for the work and sharing this profile! New to all of this so will find a wall to bang my head against a few times to see if I learn any of this!

Enjoy! Finally found time to do some campaign missions and Iām very happy with the state of the common callsign profile now; unless youāre a fan of changing to exotic callsigns with MC I would recommend to stick with that one, RAM usage is ok now.
