All green NVGs cockpit lighting
-
Does anyone have an all green (nvg) cockpit lighting? That is what is most current on US Air Force cockpit lighting? I have a green one but the airspeed indicator is not green or the VVI and AOA tapes. Does anyone have an all green cockpit lighting?
-
The one by default ;).

Yeah I will try to post a picture sometime tonight or this weekend

This is the right one. You have two generation of green, the old one (deep green) and the new one (blueish).
Default :
Real : (F-16 BM-BE)

That may be correct for the MLU F-16s but for the American F-16s it is the deep green. When I was stationed in Korea, and Shaw, the deep green is what they have.
Here are the screenshots, but the deep green one needs to have the VVI, AOA and Airspeed Indicator and backup attitude indicators green. I am not sure how to make them that color without messing them up.
The current one….
The deep green one, but the VVI, AOA, Airspeed Indicator, and Backup Attitude Indicators need to be made the same color as the rest of the gauges.

Anyone know how to change the gauge colors without messing the gauges up and so they look like the other gauges?
Thanks

From what I know, even USAF have both color, depending of the generation of the backlight.
Easy to change yourself anyway, just need to edit the DDS with photoshop. -
Yeah I was able to do part if it I’m just having a problem with the shading on the VVI, AOA, airspeed indicator and backup attitude indicator.

Some of the files of F16 (textures) have transparency applied. and it is,(I believe) saved in dxt3 or dxt5. Use this software to check the DDS file, and you can see the transparency, if it exists. Maybe, you will have to adjust the transparency in your texture, in order to have this correct…

Yeah I am able to open the files and view them in photoshop but how do I make the airspeed indicator look like the green part on the attitude indicator?
-
Work in the default one, not on your modded one, it will be much more easy. Open it and modify the green with a saturation or tone layer.

Or just pull the pit out and change the globes ?
