How can I adjust campaign to reduce the amount aircraft at the ramp and all together.
My laptop runs smooth in the air,but take off and landing can really kill the frames. All graphics are set to a pretty low standard.

What are your specs? Depending on what you have, if it’s too old there is not much you can do beside upgrading, Bms is not demanding system wise. I used to run BMS 4.32 on a laptop i-5 2540 @2.6 ghz 8gb ram Nvidia Quadro 3000m with no slowdown, not much different then what I have now

Marc…Its not 4.32 anymore. Lets help the guy.

I know! That’s why I said that knowing his specs would be a good start, pretty hard to help without knowing that
Actually you are not helping much

Probably the easiest way for you would to Chose a Squadron to fly “out of” that is stationed at an airbase that does not have many other squadrons “stationed” there.
Kunsan is always busy, but its an attractive base, Anything near Seoul should probable be avoided.
Don’t always chose easy, and try the variations avaliable. You will find one that better suits you situation, ( fly over water to hit target on coastlins)
Happy Hunting, and do reply.

Please cool down and take a breath, dear mate.
Shadow wasn’t clearly telling anything bad here and doesn’t need my help in clarifying that, besides he’s a very good helping guy since he was here for the first time.
To the point: why do you think that comparing i.e. my system’s specs. with yours would be of any help?
Clear that having more performing CPU/motherboards, RAM and graphic cards at hand might be of some help in get the sim running better, but BMS has still a long way to benefit of all that stuff in full. And this is good, because just it means, to my eyes, that in our horizons there is still a long way to go before us still. Hope I made the sense of my speech, Englis is not my native language after all. Go devs. go!
Just my quarter, please don’t shoot at me now :lol:With best regards.

Cool down?? Sorry I don’t get it What did I do? I’m trying to help the guy
Nevermind, Marc…

So better I’m wrong here.
Have a nice day and take care.
With best regards.

Sorry we all might be different time zones. I didn’t have a problem last night playing a new campaign. I think at the start of a new campaign I reduced some sliders at the target type screen. I’m not sure if thats putting me at a disadvantage to the DPRK ,but the runway was much less busy than before and frames were not bad.
-
Possibly. Sliders are not relative to each others. Reducing some will either rebalance if they were over your AF capacity, either reduce the absolute amount of sorties.
-
In the config file, you can adjust the minutes of the spawn time of AI aircraft at the airbase. I’m on mobile at the moment, but that may help you out. I’ve always had an issue of low FPS while on the ground.
-
What’s the weather set too? This can also cause some dicrease in FPS, especially in really bad weather.

I was actually writing a reply to the perp , so I was.
I’m usually the first to rag on a person with a obvious hardware issue who doesn’t includes his full specs while expecting help to do a diagnostic on their poorly explained problem.
But in this case I though it was easy to see that the posters issue was situational and just need to develop strategies to stay away form congested operational areas.
Sir if I appeared to be disrespectful I apologize. My original post was unnecessary.
Regards……
PS: I see others have given good advice also,
:drink:

I believe giving out the specs of ones rig is important… my old gal yields 20 FPS on a great day without clouds.

But you haven’t given your specs yet ! :brick::noidea: <–— Q.S.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words ! So how many words did I whittle out of that witty smiley scape ?
