X52 Pro constantly recalibrating
-
I have to recalibrate my joystick after every restart. Is this normal for the X52 Pro?
Basically I have to move the stick fully in X and Y. Otherwise if I don’t, the sensitivity is too much and it “maxes out” each axis after only tilting it slightly.
I am using the latest Logitech drivers on Windows 10. -
After every Windows restart? I don’t leave my X52 Pro plugged in all the time myself, it’s got poor firmware. But it is SOP for any stick (after plugging in, or restarting Windows if it remains plugged in all the time) to engage the full range of motion for all axes, stick and throttle, dials, etc.
You shouldn’t have to do this every time you restart BMS, if that is what you mean. Would want to be sure of a few things if that was happening, would want to know if you have any other multi-axis controllers attached, etc. I definitely don’t have to recalibrate after every BMS restart…

Sorry I should have clarified: I have to do it every time after restarting Windows. The X52 Pro is plugged in all the time. Is that not a good thing? I also just use the X52 Pro, no additional controllers.
I’m relieved now though, knowing that it’s something everyone has to do.
