Wrong ATIS shown in briefing (Amendola)
-
The briefing shows an ATIS frequency that doesn’t belong to the airbase.
The 131.500 MHz frequency belongs to the Aviano base. According to the Balkans MAIP and Balkans Navaids lists Amendola doesn’t have ATIS.
Is that a limitation in the game, i.e. it always shows an ATIS frequency even if the airfield doesn’t have one? -
Breifing shows whats set in the theater station+ils.dat file and there Amendola has a ATIS frequency 131.500 set

Aviano ATIS is 141.500

Aviano ATIS is 141.500
That’s what’s in station file

I’m using 141.500 at Aviano AB from first revision of station+ils.dat, (https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?36410-Updated-Balkans-NavAids-amp-MAIP-for-4-34) Many thanks to Nikos for that great job, almost since ATIS it’s poped up in BMS…

Interesting. The 131.500 frequency seems to be broadcasting the Aviano ATIS.

Yes, the Aviano ATIS is 141.500. But tuning to 131.500 is also playing back the Aviano ATIS instead of the Amendola ATIS.
Here’s a video showing what I mean: https://dump.video/i/7mhFeL.mp4 -
I think it’s says Aviano, but it’s transmiting the values from Amendola…probably a bug…dunno
