Mouse Panning with 3D Cockpit
-
Hey guys,
I feel a little bit like a tool cause I cannot figure out why I cannot get my mouse to pan the 3D cockpit view? Manual indicates to ensure clickable 3D cockpit is off and track IR. Further more it also indicates Shift KP8 etc will pan and neither are working for me? So I have clickable 3D cockpit off, track IR off in advanced settings and I cannot get the mouse to pan the cockpit around?
Am I missing something?

Do you have an TrackIR or alike software installed? If so it’s not enough to have them not running. I.e for Opentrack it has to be deinstalled in order to get mouse panning in 3d pit back working

Ah yes, there is a good suggestion. I will try that.

TIR has to be switch in standby mode to be able to use the mouse.

Yes the earlier suggestion did the trick. I had ED traker and open track installed. I had to uninstall them to get it working. All good now.

Try holding down right mouse button and panning mouse, or middle mouse button.

Seems that with 4.35.1 it is no longer necessary to uninstall Opentrack. It just has to be stopped, then mouse pan will work

Yes, you don’t need to uninstall opentrack, under output settings -> Select Interface -> Use freetrack, disable TrackIR. That’s enough for the mouse to work again.
