ough…here it comes again…
that’s Pumpy’s hi-poly mig-19…with minor mod for a farmer variant.
OTOH, it means ppl really like mig19 model and want to check it.
BTW the lod zip contains that model is no longer available for DL.for FAB9000, there’s one FAB1000 or 1500 in BMS DB - a quick scaling by clicking on subtree node, and scale X to 5m, YZ diameter to 1.2m, you got it.

inside the rar you can find 4 set skins and a different dat file where I changed some values, you are free to check them and change them, of course.

In that MiG-19PM screenshot those 2x four hinged air by- passing gills on top of the fuselage,
between the canopy and the fin are opened, which is AFAIK not the correct behavior.They are usually opened on the ground and close at higher speed, soon after takeoff.

I replaced the F-5N model with the F-5F .lod Uptil now its the only Lod that give me some problems. Any idea’s???

I have similar problems trying to get it into FF. Once loaded into LE for modification (.dds numbers), cannot save changes.

A good question, I’ve never thought of it, now I checked it out of sheer curiosity. Yes, there is a flyable A-6 (you can select it for a TE mission) but it has a generic Viper pit, unless I’ve missed something.

I love the F5F and RF5, but when i start in the 3d world, this bms crash. (i replaced the F5-N lod file) If i use the 'old F5a lod, it works.Past years I collected a lod of lod files, the first time when PMC forum was active: I fond a link there where somebody shared a lot of files, a lot of them only lod, no wire frames etc. I also tried to collect the files in the Topic.

That would be the cockpit to it, that would be super! How difficult is it to create a simple cockpit?

I’m afraid that’s a pretty hard task, my friend. Even modifying an existing pit isn’t easy, if you want to start from scratch, you’ll have to build the model first (all the 3D shapes), than the skin, i.e. everything that’s on the surface. I’m absolutely no expert, but you can find some threads on cockpit building in these forums.

So, dumb question: if you pull-up a .lod in LE (in this case any bomb), you will notice in the wire-frame a little red circle. This appears to be where the .lod attaches to the rack .lod. Can this be edited in LE? Some bombs don’t connect to the racks the way I’d prefer…

For moving bomb Lod location, you can use LE 6.237 or later version, tool-move model function.
Tu22 blinder, model is converted from fs98 free model. The skin is created by Ranger for ITO.
