Edit 10 Feb 2021:
There seems to be conflicting advice and issues regarding the installation of the keyfiles so hopefully this should clarify the matter:
1. If not using Alternative Launcher and not needing to change keyfile bindings.
a) The profile is preconfigured to use the keyfile in the C:\Bin\Keyfiles folder, leave this as is.
b) Copy the identical “BMS - Ice’s Helios Profile.key” file from the “Setup \FalconBMS Keyfiles\FalconBMS with no Hotas Profile” folder to the “Falcon BMS\User\Config” folder.
c) Add your HOTAS bindings to the end of the “BMS - Ice’s Helios Profile.key” file and point BMS to it.
d) If you don’t have your own HOTAS bindings then there are two alternative key files in the “Setup \FalconBMS Keyfiles” folder with HOTAS bindings to use as a guide.
2. If using Alternative Launcher and/or needing to change keyfile bindings.
a) Copy the “BMS - Ice’s Helios Profile.key” file from the “Setup \FalconBMS Keyfiles\FalconBMS with no Hotas Profile” folder to the “Falcon BMS\User\Config” folder.
b) Add your Hotas bindings to the end of this file and rename it to “BMS - Full.Key” AFTER renaming the existing “BMS - Full.Key” to “BMS - Full - Backup.Key” or something similar.
c) Now point BOTH the Helios profile and BMS to the “BMS - Full.Key” file in the “Falcon BMS\User\Config” folder.

First time I’ve tried this and it is outstanding, thanks!
The Setup instructions were perfect, and it works for me on my touchscreen monitor as intended. However, I do have a few small issues. I’ve searched the Forum, BMS manuals, and other online tutorials. I’ve reinstalled from scratch. I’ve tried both in scaled-up to my monitor size and also original scale, and still no luck. I am running on a single touchsreen computer with an external monitor. I run BMS on the second, external monitor and use the first for my extraction. The problems are:
Issue 1: ICP Rocker switch only goes up. Even pressing on the bottom of the buton (finger or mouse), both image and callback only go up. I’m a tru beginer here, but I’ve checked the profile in the editor, and from what I can tell it looks correct, the different positions and callbacks are there and seem right.
Issue 2: The ICP hat switch only goes Up or Left; it does not go Right or Down. Same as above, callbacks in the profile editor look ok.
Issue 3: Rotary switches only go one direction.
These issues occur in helios whether or not BMS is running. Sorry if I’ve missed somehting obvious. If anyone has any idea about how to fix this, please let me know.
Thanks!
UPDATE: The issues do not occur, everything works correctly when extracted on “Monitor 2” instead of switching to Monitor 1. Unfortunately Monitor 1 is the touchscreen… Does this suggest a possible problem/fix?
ThanksFURTHER UPDATE: I got everything working. In my regular computer graphics setup, my external display was my “Primary Monitor.” When I switched my touchscreen “Monitor 1” to be my primary monitor, everything in helios works as it should. Not sure why this would make a difference. Leaving this post in case it can help solve someone else’s problem in the future…

This issue is more than likely due to a difference in Windows scaling between monitors. Please ensure both monitors are using the same windows scaling. This is a know issue with Helios itself and is not related to BMS

Awesome setup. I have an issue though once I’m in the game my mfd’s freeze in the first 10 seconds of flight.

Hello Maverick_667e.
This is due to this known bug.
Helios uses the same memory area as all texture extractors, RTT, MFDE and other mobile apps.https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?40679-BUG-FIXED-RTT-Remote-Freezing

That is not related to the Helios Profile. It’s a Bug in 4.35 that every tool that uses RTT to extract MFD Display Data currently suffers

As a work around some have reported that adjusting your ACMI buffer to 1000 may help with the freezing, but depending on your hardware and the validity of the claim your milage may vary.

The only thing on likelyness of freeze I can say on the bug is regardless of ACMI setting
1. TE SP very likely nearly 1 out of 1
2. Camp SP less likely about 3 out of 5
3. Camp in MP even less likely about 2 out of 7 -
I have my ACMI off
I’m running the following:
I7-8700K OC’d to 4.5ghz
1TB Sabrent rocket M2 SSD Nvme
Gigabyte 3080 Video card
32gigs of DDR4 3200 Corsair Vengence ramBTW the Helios profile is sweet though

I would like to your help for new Helios user.
I wanna use my iPad for only Landing gear and CMDS screens how can I use them?

**Please Note:
From here on the thread goes off topic and relates entirely to extracting parts of the profile onto an iPad.
If you want to continue the original topic skip to Post 32 on Page 4.

I’m afraid that there isn’t any way for Helios to interface with an iPad nor an Android Tablet. You’d need to search for an iPad app but I don’t think that you’ll find one which does exactly what you want.
Not 100% true. You can use apps like duetdisplay, splashtop xwired to make your tablet to be used as a USB monitor.
The Ipad on the right is connected with duet display and recognized by windows as regualr monitor. In the example image it holds some MFDE gauges. Placing Helios onto it works as well. For Ipad and Duet Helios struggles to process the touch inputs (other apps recognize the touch inputs on the tablet as regular mouse clicks) but other apps apart of duet such as shlashtop might not face that issue. Haven’t tested other tablet to display apps yet
