Nevada BMS 4.3.5.1 Terrain Updates

This thread will be used to showcase and document progress on the terrain for Nevada. I will start by posting current images of multiple areas of interest and then work through editing them with new tiles.
Goal is to post atleast a weekly update w/ images and videos. I will also release the list of areas of interest soon.

-Salt Lake City / Great Salt Lake / Hill AFB
-Las Vegas / Nellis AFB
-Los Angeles region
-Luke AFB
-Edwards AFB region
-Fixing Death Valley. Currently an inland sea in game.
-Creating salt flats/dry lake beds
-Lake TahoeAgain goal is not to create complete photorealistic tiles but to bring these areas up to a greater level of detail.

Hill AFB / Salt Lake City / Great Salt Lake
Current:
The blue lines are rivers and mark the boundaries of the Great Salt Lake.
Edited:
The light blue water is the new water tile with the reflective surface. All water will change to this new tile. Dark blue is old water tile from theater.
Tiles seen here are test for now. I need to edit them to create transitions from urban to rural / desert tiles. Along with highway/rivers/road tiles across urban/desert/forest areas.

I am currently working on some test with CATE for Autotiling and some other ideas I have to update the theater on a large scale. Idea is to use this to cover the entire theater with updated tiles then work to hand tile specific cities and bases.

More updates and streams are coming in the following weeks. I have worked out a timeline and aiming to be able to release these tile updates mid summer. I can say for sure they will be after U2 releases.

Hey Ripper,
Honest suggestion, and while fully understand your passion to the tiles realism (i wanted to do it too for ITO),
You should stop investing time into it, and focus on Objects, campaigns and 3D content - tiles, terrain and water are pretty much waste of time for the long run - at least for my opinion.
So keep your hard and wonderful work, and hope for future BMS to be super duper awesome to save your time instead of tiling everything around by handcheers

I have to second all vAiCon’s… good or bad it is, theaters characteristics are subject to change a lot in the next future, as I began to read here and there since a few days ago.
Just my cent and nothing else, of course.
