Too much stutter after disk cleanup & maintenance.
-
hi all.
I have observed that whenever I do a Windows and/or graphic update, disk cleanup and defragtmentation. BMS starts to stutter and there is a visible drop in Fps… even after deleting d3d file no improvement is felt or seen… -
Then don’t do it while using BMS.
And if this not what you meant, rewrite your post in a way way way way more specific manner.

Please be specific…
If you use a HDD then do it outside of playing time…
If SSD, then Defrag isn’t a thing…Anyway, explain better for better answer…

It will take way way way more to offend us, which also is why we can comment that with a total peace of mind. If it makes you feel better and not offended in your own ego, you are forgiven. Apparently, the better guy who helped you was yourself, that must be a very good feeling of self-accomplishment, and worth anything. This is something we often forget when we are not Shaolin masters: the man who asked a question, you shall let him reach plenitude in his own answer.
Now if you forgive us in turn, we are awaited for the tea ceremony.

You mentioned Windows update … so, you might not be wrong …
I don’t know the details of who or what was affected by this KB5001330 bug… sounds maybe multi-monitor related? not sure
More info here… incl how to tell if your PC has picked up the server-side config fix:
