Solved Tanker stuck at 22.000ft/FL220
-
4.35 u3
KTO
When planning a tanker (kc10) at a different altitude than 22.000ft it will, when the boom extends, climb or descent to 22.000. After done fuel it will return to the planned value.(Also had tanker speeding up to about mach .082 a couple of times but unable to produce this all the time yet)

You say very little things…
TE / Campaign?
MP / SP?
Other planes in the vicinity? You need to record the session via tacview and provide the mission file…
Meanwhile, there is poor chance that the team will investigate since tanker code is reworked in 4.36…
-
@maxwaldorf , Hi Max , sorry…
It was in SP from a TE with only one wingman. Nothing else plannend for testpurpose.
I did record it with tacview and have the files avail if you like. ( where to send?)a simple solution is just to plan the tanker at 22.000ft

IIRC, this is normal. AAR FL depends on a/c to refuel.
-
Confirmed.
AAR FL is dictated by fueled a/c.

Thankyou!
-
@dash the altitude/speed shift should happen request the refuel as long as you are within 10 miles. I’ll call earlier than the rejoin because of this.

-
@snake122 thanks, so calling within 10nm not earlier you mean?
-
@dash yes within 10nm, but before you have actually joined formation
