Solved Want to switch back to my CH HOTAS
-
While I now have upgraded to windows 10 and have the Logitech X56 Hotas…I am not that satisfied with it. (Mainly I find it with less button options that I can program for easy reach with my hands).
So I would like to switch back to my CH Hotas. So here are my questions before I start pulling wires and my hair.
If you have the CH Hotas,- Does it work well with Win 10.
- Do you use the CH Controller program (or is that so outdated now that it is of little use).
- Does the CH Hotas still work with the BMS Launcher
- As I have my own profile (or will modify it), does anyone want to share their profile. (I want to make sure I have the code so that the toe brake works with pressure, and the mini stick can move the caret in the MFD - that’s what it was before I moved to Win 10).
Hope to get some replies.

- Works perfectly with Win10
- Control Manger is a nightmare to get to work in Win10, you don’t need it anyway.
- Are you talking about Alternative Launcher? Then yes, you program it there…
- Forget the “profile” and set it up in Alternative launcher the way you want…

@wurminatorza glad to see it. I had crashes and glitches with every use, was enough for me and as Bob Church (or whoever owns the code) didn’t see fit to release it to Open Source it just wasn’t worth messing with anymore. Add to that my move to Win11 Pro (hey, maybe it will work with Win11!) and upgraded (to 12bit) mainboards it no longer could work anyway, actually needed to be uninstalled as it caused an issue with the new hardware. Now I have a Warthog HOTAS and the CH gear is in a box…

CH Manager on Win10 is what finally pushed me over the edge to get a Warthog setup. CH Manager worked, sometimes, when it felt like it, and was sometimes fixable randomly by restarting (sometimes once but often 5-10x restarting it). The quality of the TM (and more so the Virpil base I have now) is just so much higher too.
