3D Objects in Somalia

I want to let everybody know that, Glenn Johnson, sole author of all IP at “FSX Photo Real Sceneries”, located at http://www.fsxphotoreal.com/ has granted me permission to use his freeware FSX models in my Falcon projects. Here is a portion of the email he has sent me granting permission:
Hi Gavin:
Thanks for the feedback! I would willing to give you permission to include my 3D models as Freeware for Flacon 4.0 under one condition. All I ask is that you include my “FSX Photo Real Sceneries” title in the credits as the creator of the scenery files that you use. I am devoting 100% of my time now to developing flight simulator scenery and I ‘m starting to work on ways to increase the awareness of my small business… I have 10 airports in the pipeline now that I plan on releasing ass payware, with about 10 more freeware request for some smaller airports that are sitting on the back burner for 2016.If there are any concerns, I can forward to any concerned individuals, the entire/orginal email exchange between Glenn and I. The use of the above mentioned models was an amzing gesture of good faith by Glenn. I ask that FSX simmers please take a moment to visit his website in thanks for his contribution for Falcon 4.0 and its upcoming theatres.

Very aweseome. Thanks for this initiative. East Africa is one of my favourite sim regions as well, as for the pure scenery.

Good news my friend. But FSX objects are almost useless in Falcon. Too many triangles, no damaged and destroyed Lod … etc.
Example: KLGA has 164 texture… it’s too much (e.g. In Gibraltar I use 10x 2048x2048 for all objects, including damaged and destroyed Lod and still I’m afraid about FPS.)
I think it’s easier to build these objects from scratch and FSX objects use as comparison eg. scale?
Radium has done a great job for us at some airport do you remember? This is a good project-start and that’s what I’m talking about.
Thank you anyway
