Solved IVC, I can't hear!!!
-
Hi guys,
I need an help about IVC.
It happens that I can’t hear what other speck, but I can trasmit and I am listened.
In my router every port is open in TCP and UDP, in the firewall of windows I have habilitated public and private, but nevertheless I can’t hear.
I don’t know where is the problem and this happens in KTO and Balkans.
Any suggestions?Thanks a lot.

Well, the problem was, obviously, w10 that charge all devices without a serious control. May be this happens during one update, I don’t know, but the fact is that I have found 3 audio devices where the first on the list of IVC that I don’t use.
I didn’t force anything, just disabled the device that I don’t use and all is gone well.Thank to all your support, very kind of you.

Check the ivc client program that opens when you connect to ivc. If you have more than one"playback" devices. Maybe the wrong one is selected by ivc. Check on the “force local control” checkbox on the left, that allows you to change the settings. Then select a different playback device. See if that helps.

Thanks, I will try.
Just a curiosity, is possible to edit directly inside IVC, because I have found 3 voices as out put audio? Thanks again

Try as @danaos75 said. After connecting to host in game, on IVC hit Force local button. Then select your preferred playback device, then hit ‘connect’ again on IVC.
OR
Open IVC client before connecting, then select the playback device, then connect to your host in game. -
2 options…
- Network issue
- Not the right audio device selected
For the first one:
- Make sure your windows firewall authorize the IVC client to connect…
- The host should follow the following guidelines: LINK
For the second one:
- Make sure your communication device is properly selected since IVC will by default use the communication device (see below)
