Has anyone try this for BMS 4.37?

@Jaker I believe all of @fredemmott’s mods require OpenXR which isn’t compatible yet with BMS. I’m hoping his mod or baked in support for PointCTRL. That’s my preferred hand tracking solution right now but curious about the true camera hand tracking, but after being burnt by Leap Motion’s, I’m skeptical.

@Snake122
Yep that app uses OpenXR, 'tho it seems SteamVR API also supports hand tracking.
I’d love to see that tech native implementation in BMS. Simple gestures for left/right click would be enough to make interacting with virtual cockpit a dream, with scroll up/down gestures a heaven -
When we get hand tracking working in the game, can we make it so that we can use hand signals with wingmen? Would be super cool even if just for MP flights…

HTCC requires OpenXR to use Quest hand tracking, or to emulate controllers; it doesn’t require it to use pointctrl in combination with mouse emulation, but BMS’s mouse support does not currently seem usable for absolute (like a touch screen or tablet - or pointctrl) rather than relative (like a mouse or trackball) mouse positions.
HTCC will never support hand tracking without pointctrl without OpenXR. SteamVR is obsolete, and not supported by - for example - Oculus hand tracking.
OpenKneeboard works with OpenXR, SteamVR, or Oculus SDK.

@fredemmott I forgot to mention that Open Kneeboard works here but I did in another thread. If/when BMS supports OpenXR, I look forward to trying the Oculus hand tracking, it’s as I said little hard for me to get fired up about it with the Leap Motion issues (I first found VRK with Rider’s Leap Motion support). But as I understand it, Oculus does it much better.
I understand that Oculus hand tracking and PointCTRL aren’t linked, but I should have been clearer about that in my post for everyone. They are completely different methods of hand tracking, you could probably call Point Control pseudo hand (finger) tracking, but it works so well.

@Atlas at the same tile, add the possibility to take a sheet on EZ board to write something and Show it at window

@Vespa I have no clue what you’re talking about and how it would ever be useful…
