I’m glad Molni dropped in. I meant to post earlier that I think we should use Molni’s DB as a base for any campaign stuff. He put so much work into making a dedicated 80’s DB that it seems silly to not capitalize on it.
In case of request I can integrate more stuff, are still placeholder and garbage DB entries which can be recycled. As I can remember even a placeholder Viggen 3D model in DB I just did not wanted to play it, the Eurowar campign could live without Viggen. I also changed ships which would be useful in this theater.

…The really great Monster tool is working very slow while doing that. I needed over about 3 hours for 150 NM of coast lines. That is a bit frusticial but some day I will have it.
Next I have to do is- correcting the rest of coast elevations ( that Needs a lot of time- and Music- and alcohol)

Yes Tom, monsters terraineditor is slow for hand tiling. It is great in modterrain mode and for 3D realtime tweaks tho.
For handtiling, it is faster to use old Terrainview (u can drag and drop textures inside segment), but u will need 256col. PCX texture version.For coasts highfix, the best way is to use CATE. U can export BMP image of the sea. Edit this image in graphic editor. U must enlarge sea area according your Falcon mesh tessalation (diagonals). U can load that image into CATE and set height 0 for whole area. U will have pretty coastlines in 10 seconds.

The reason there giving him TerrainView is Monsters TE is extremely slow at hand tiling, where TerrainView is a lot quicker.
But for sure they will be using TE for other functions.

Take a look at Google Earth. Tromsø is a civil airfield with no HAS’, only hangars. Nearest military bases are Bardufoss, Evenes, Ørlandet, Andøya and Bodø.

How to set the “Spawn-Point”? which means: When the missions starts, how does BMS know where the jets are parking?

How to inbound These new 3d objects into the DB with LOD-Editor? Just creating a new parent - What is important to know?

In case you create new objectives it is not possible to use my DB in “copy+paste” style.

Yeah, presently I Focus on the airfields. I will have a realistic look. If I will be able to integrate the new fields we should think about other Options. Otherwise- If I fail we could do the paste and copy maneuver.
However- To create new airfields is a complete new battlefield for my own. I made a lot of thinks in past but this is a very new Option. I have to find out how it goes and how it works in Falcon. So I could get some new experiences …

Of course if new airbases simply overwrite existing ones (using the same DB entries) or are new DB entries they can be imported. Only problem I have never did this, because objectives are out of my scope and knowledge.

And approach frequency of 123.75.

Really hope you guys can pull this off, would be mega awesome!, SA-10 nightmare that’s for sure but WOW it would be great, EF2000 was the bomb in its day.

I`m pretty confused- I have following Problems:
all lat-Long datas are covering the Korea area. Dont know how to fix that. Any Ideas?
I am not able to insert new Airbases - So I still have to use the original Korea bases. Thats not fine- but it works so far.So I think I should go on working on the map and make the database Gurus and airbase modder give a big gamefield.

A special thing for this theater….
Because of the steep coastline, you need to make a combined tile, containing coast and road in the same tile. Without that, a lot of places will look weird.
