@sheref that sounds absolutely perfect!! That should be the default sound in 4.38. It’s so much better than stock sound which are quite luckluster in comparison
-
I’ve been using your audio file for a few months now, and I agree: it should be the default audio file, or at least well proposed as an installation choice. Many Thanks for your job

any news on the release?
-
@b0bl00i sorry for late but i make many test and found some problems working to fix it to be perfict like the sounds levels near and far … and you will have 4 types of f16 engines sound as the types of it’s engines and intake size as the f16i sufa and barak and the HAF f16s engines types , so you can try youtube videos to see what it’s look like near and far and when it landing so diffrant and it changing step to other step to hear it the way we hearing it nearly.
In the other hand the cockpit textures is now completed for now will releasing the new files with the sounds … and as i say before i’m not a moder or developer so maybe some one will found issues and post it … i will try to fix it as i can becuase my helth condition . -
@sheref Looking forward to the release Sheref.

Yep.
I remember having some issues at some point when start sound sequence was too long. (sound loop system is truly painful in some cases).

Sorry, can’t help anymore. It been too long I haven’t dealt with nightmare sound code/sound table.
Be careful … touching the aircfrat.dat file is a “bad idea” because data are linked with nozzle code, afterburner … etc … as far as I remember, they must be synchronized, so if you change data in .dat, some inputs must be modif also in the code (and of course, you don’t have access to that part). It may sounds nice, but it will be wrong and can break engine sound response/behavior).
I recommend only playing with sound table leaving aircraft.dat as it is. (not everything is editable, and having things in .dat doesn’t always mean they can be safely edited the right way. Some stuff are hardcoded.)

Is this mean the sounds like sndext,sndext2,3,4 or you did mean some thing els?
-
Any way if no one can help i’ll keep do my work maybe some day in the future some one can make it good data and good sounds.
