“Unhandled exception has occurred” error from .NET Framework dialogue box when I try to load your profile. Any idea what this means?

Getting this one now! Thanks!

hey, i did follow everything in the “read me, i dare you” file and followed everything like it is explained in there.
now this isn’t working for me and i think its the .pr0 file, because when i load that file in the control center i don’t see anything in it, accept for the mini mouse and scroll wheel.
i use a X52 (no pro) and hope i didn’t download a x52pro file here? or could i have done something wrong here?
i’m using software version 7.0.27.13 from smart technology.any help would be appriciated.

This problem is probably buried in the thread somewhere, but I followed the instructions and I can get most of the functions fine, but when I press the pinky button the only thing that happens is my radar goes ext. I can’t get it to do the shift functions.
Btw, what is the first detent on the trigger supposed to do?

Is there a version of this that doesn’t butcher the keyboard mapping? And when I press the pinkey button, nothing happens. How can I make my own version?
-
Edit:
forget my question, it was just me……
After comparing the keyfiles (no TrackIR with TrackIR Version) i understood how it works and find out that the function i was searching for was allready there… -
Hi there, I’ve just bought my X52 1 week ago (not pro) and when I select a profile from profiler it causes me BSOD AND BMS crashes.
Help me please I’m very tired of this! -
IIRC there used to be an issue with Button Names longer than 16 characters. It is supposed to have been fixed but I don’t take the chance just in case.
Edit:
_Note: I needed to add a USB 2.0 PCI card to my “Dell Vostro 430 i7” desktop because of strange MFD communication errors and poor joystick response (lost calibration, etc.) but I never had a BSOD due to the Saitek. I’d guess my issues were due to Dell’s chipset/USB 3.0 implementation (other USB devices seem ok).
I was ready to return the X52 Pro as broken but “luckily” found the intermittent faults disappeared once plugged into another PC._

I ve almost the same kind of problem, but that leads to ctd or bsod! I’ve the leds off, sometimes they bright up and If I’m manouvering while they do so it looses calibration and make the “0 point” the actual point where the cloche was, but it is impossible to trim as it does that quickly and **** up everything another time.
If I don’t use the SST all is going fine, the problem is that the SST is a must to use the radar cursor. (I don’t have command with more than 10 char in string)

It’s been a while since I have ran this sim but on your profile how do you designate a target on the MFD? I can move the cursor but cannot designate it.
Thanks! -

I have the same problem with the pinkie button not shifting the other buttons properly.
Has anyone else solved this problem?
-
Awesome profile, thank you for making it and sharing with us:-)

I have a question, does anybody know how to reprogram the shifted mouse button 1 so it pauses TrackIR instead of reloads TrackIR? Thank you very much for you help

Hi,
Just getting started in BMS with my X52. I found this profile through a google search and tried to use it. However, after following the steps and placing the files in the appropriate folders, the buttons are not being bound. The only control that remains is the MFD cursor, which is configured in the Saitek Profiler. Anyone have any idea what this problem is? I’ve re-downloaded the files, rebooted my computer and reinstalled the saitek drivers, which just seemed to mess up the stick more… now the MFD on the throttle doesn’t display the full profile name or the mode, justMode [1] 2 3 Mo Falcon ```Not sure what I'm not doing (or doing) so that the buttons aren't bound properly or how to fix the MFD on the throttle. Please help? Thanks.

Having exactly the same problem as Squared above…
Anyone having any ideas? -

Anyone having any ideas?I assume you mean the ministick? Using the latest software from I couldn’t use the cursor using the ministick. It just wouldn’t work. You have to roll back to an older version. Look around for 4.0.100.1190 which is available from a Saitek FTP site. I can’t remember where I got that info. It was either on this forum, SimHQ or DCS/Eagle Dynamics. Get rid of the current version and re-install that older version. My head was wrecked trying to get it working in any sim.
Hope that helps.

@ unpilot, jasonbirder et al,
Do you guys have other USB devices plugged in such as the Thrustmaster MFDs? If so this can reset your device numbers to where the profile will not work correctly with you HOTAS.

Thanks!! That did it. I had a old “Virtual” joystick program running that must have gummed it up.
Once I uninstalled that I was good to go!Now I just need to find out why my data cartridge is not loading…i.e. Blank MFD’s
