Chaps,
Just a word of warning - if YOU take control of a Squad, or indeed more than one, and NOT HQ your squad will NOT be resupplied as it would be if it was controlled by HQ.
You can however resupply your squads with both pilots an ordinance via MC - just saying.

@Ironman53rd Wait. The automatic resupply only happens for AI controlled squadrons?
If that’s the case I suppose there is a way to manually frag resupply runs?

@Ironman53rd thanks for the tip bro!!
By the way… if i frag a C-130 mission to resupply the airbase that my squadron is in, will it be resupplied? Or i really need to get this via MC?
Thanks again!

@Ironman53rd
That’s strange. I have never noticed beeing not supplied and never used MC for this.
I’m also sure I was resupplied in Nordic recently and never ticked on “Set by HQ” in this campaign (what I sometimes did in others or changed the squadron) .
But I only use the checkbox in game, not via Mission Commander to take control of a squadron. -

I stand corrected - but this is not my experience … perhaps I didn’t wait long enough.

Just out of interest what are the parameters for resupply of munitions/pilots/air frames for a squad NOT controlled by HQ?

@SoBad A very useful document, thanks for sharing.

I would say the same as for HQ controlled ones.
There are different factors. First, it depends on the overall resupply capacities of the war production of a campaign/theater (factories, refineries, …).
Then it depends on how many of those installations are destroyed or damaged (thats why buildings have a value from very low to very high).
If your squadron has suffered heavy losses it gets resupplied more by the campaign engine in the next cycle. If you have small losses and other squadrons are more in need, the campaign engine may decide to send you less or no resupplies.
The value told in the squadron menu window cannot be trusted. You may get resupplies earlier or later (depending on your need). Same applies to weapons and fuel (i.e. if your side has only few airframes left, they should all get enough fuel, thats the cause you almost cannot lower the rates of supply and fuel for the enemy while he looses more and more units).
It is a highly dynamic supply system.
