take a look at my hot list you will find the link to the mods thread…
Also it should be on a section as a sticky thread.

        Edit: lol it’s not there
but installing janhas f-16 models you get the nose.

Or you can rotate the stock model’s nose so you can see it (IMO the bird slicers on the stock/default nose are better than any mods). If you know how to use LodEditor you can find the model number for the F-16 you want to rotate the nose in the art\ckptart folder and opening the F-16’s file in notepad and looking at the number to the right of cockpitwingsmodel, open LodEditor, put that number in the box next to normal, click normal, click the button 1, click edit lod, expand the last subtree in the list and block select all within it (there is a section bottom right of lodeditor to choose select mode (single or block - choose block), go to the Tools drop down after, select model rotate, check “selection” or else you will rotate the entire model and not just the nose, enter -5.00 in the Y box, click OK and click save. Then you are finished and can preview in 3D. Recommend before doing any of that you save a back up of the stock cockpitwingsmodel until you know what you are doing. Also, note the above only works for the stock/default F-16 models (where the cockpit nose subtree is).

You can see the nose from the cockpit like this after doing that:

Hey guys, thanks for the help.

If I use the LodEditor do I have to keep using it to change the nose with every f16 variant that I fly as i fly or can i change then all at once? I used the LodEditor several years back and can figure it out again but it would be great if anyone can point me to a quick guide. i will search but I have noticed finding old falcon stuff is not always easy.

Update* found good guide from JanHas.

@Demo - I was wondering if your VFW is going to open up recruiting anytime soon?

@Demo I followed your instructions for adding the stock model’s nose. All i ended up seeing was what I am guessing is the radar antenna sticking out the front, no cone body? i tried moding the F16D-52 variant since it is used in most of the training TEs.

I got to get a hose on my plan, where do I file a report with maintenance?

It sounds like you didn’t select the entire nose. I will take screenshots of LE later this evening and show you what I mean. I can also just post the modified cockpitwingsmodel I use.

i think Demo if you could upload the cockpitwingsmodel in hot list , in order to have it with a short pdf or video instructions.

                  Regards
