Well Stevie work is something you do for a living most of the time and you don’t like it always.
Simming gaming hobby you do it always because u like it. If it’s on top priority then you are devoted to it with more professionalism then your actual profession.
There was and a study about the same case as Bms team and why they are excellent on it. Cause they have fun doing it like they play a game.
You live to work or you work to play?Actually, I chose my career based on my hobbies…so I’ve pretty much gotten paid to “play” for the last 30-odd years. And it’s been a LOT of fun! Once I retire I wouldn’t mind becoming part of the BMS development team…though I like to think that with the proper mindset and attention we are all part of the BMS development team…or can be.

See this is the reason people are convinced pilots dont work Arty. Because they are doing something they love - or they are in the wrong profession.
My dad has the same opinion as you, which is why he says he doesnt work. He gets up in the morning and says he is off to play… There is no better career, than to somehow convince someone to pay you to do something you would have done for free, or paid to do, anyway.
Clearly the correct answer is that some folks live to play!
Figure out what you love doing…then go do that. And you will never “work” a day in your life!

Perhaps calling BMS or any kind of simulators(non-professional use one) a “game” sometimes sounds as if he or she underrating it.
However, Most advanced "game"s nowadays are also developed with so much effort and expertise by its developers, and I think most of them are recognizing sims as one of those admirable works when they call those sims a “game”.
They might not think sims are the something so much more than “game”, but they think “game” is something so much more.I actually had to give a presentation on this once…and it’s becoming a very fine line between a “sim” and a “game”. The line is mostly in one’s mental approach to the presentation, IMO. If one doesn’t approach it like it is “real” then there is no “reality” - virtual or otherwise. Like they say, “you fight like you train”. So if you train with the mindset that you are “gaming”, someone that has trained with their mind in the real is probably going to wax you…for real.
As folks sitting on our chairs at home and never having to actually venture into the air against an opponent we have a choice…and an opportunity. I like to take the opportunity. YMMV.

Hi guys & Happy new year!
…
My personal POV is: FalconBMS is not a game nor a professional sim. It is a software. Period.
To make a sort of analogy, Photoshop is not a game … but I use it sometimes to play with the paint tools …

…I happen to have encountered some people that have used it professionally…it really is that good. I haven’t asked much about that, but just about every professional that knows something about sims seems to know something about what I’m doing in building my pit. And what I’m using to do it.

Hi there,
I’ve just purchased and installed all three FALCON (+AT & Gold) via the GalaxyClient on GOG.
During the Falcon BMS 4.33 Setup, as the Setup required locating the Falcon CD or an original installation, I tried all three paths:
C:\Program Files (x86)\GalaxyClient\Games(Falcon + Falcon AT + Falcon Gold)
still the “Next” button was not activated to click to continue! Can someone give me a tip how to do it right?
Thanks -
There should have been a free copy of Falcon 4.0 with the purchase, you need to point BMS at that.

The installation of GOG’s GalaxyClient App does not automatically include this 4.0. It should be downloaded and installed manually.
Now the BMS installation is completed.
Thanks a lot for the tip!
