Would it be possible in future editions to set specific skins to squadrons? In the default KTO campaigns, the skins are specifically set to their respective squadrons via the skin set number. For example, in Rolling Fire, Kunsan’s Block 52 111th ROKAF squadron is defaulted to the Block 52’s skin set# 4, which is of course the proper ROKAF skin.
However, with JanHas’ stopgap skin pack, the skin set order has been changed and set#4 is a Singapore AF bird, and so I end up having a bunch of Singapore jets sitting around Kunsan in Rolling Fire when they should be ROKAF. I’ve just spent the last hour backing up and renaming .dds files and it’s a royal pain in the arse, so it would be nice to have this function in Mission Commander.

That is the risk of using “unofficial” MODs.

Is there a manual for this? I’m having trouble doing much of anything with it. I want to replace the F-16AM-NL at Amendola in Balkans to Norwegians but I don’t see any way to do that. I can only resupply/delete squadrons, not create, move them, or change their aircraft…

What do you mean exactly, you’re throwing to much shit up there. You want the F-16-AM-NL to be Norwegians?? What type of aircraft.
If you tell me exactly what you want/mean, I can either do it or attempt to show you how.

I simply want to change the aircraft type of a squadron (from F-16AM-NL to F-16AM-RNoAF). Tacedit doesn’t seem to work here either: it doesn’t list squadrons, and the Units page is empty.

How about double clicking on the unit that you want to change… The world will open up for you.

I did. I see no option to change aircraft type. Clicking on the AC type in the roster changes the Act number.

That is because it is not build in. Just add a squadron in BMS itself is as simple as can be.
There is one other little thing you can do.
Pick an other F-16 flight by double clicking on the unit.
There you can change the AC type. If there is a squadron of that type on the base, it will take that squadron.
If no squadron is found, a new squadron is created on the same airbase.
If you want to move the squadron, you can do that in the screen you have posted.Gr Falcas

Simple if it were a TE. I don’t know how to add a squadron in a campaign.

I’ve read through the thread, but can’t find a solution.
I’ve created a TE in BMS with a single squadron of F-16C and no flights in Mandumi, saved and closed BMS.
Started MC and edited squadron (units->air->squadron, double click on my squadron), changing the stores count of Mk-84 LDGP from 160 to 0, saved (saved ok) and close.
Fired up the TE in BMS, but the MK-84 were still available for my squadron.
What I am missing? -

What I am missing?This will not work. As soon as you start the mission Falcon will resupply the stores for the squadrons.

I’m asking to be sure: is there a way to block Falcon from doing that initial resupply?
I’ve already edited the DB to reduce the stores available for the squadron I use in the TE (as explained here, but it doesn’t work in TE, only in campaign (I’m still trying though) and was hoping for a more elegant way to do it
Anyway your tool is greatly made and really simple to use, thank you very much for your effort, it’s really useful to me!Also can someone help me with some quick tips on how to “paint” the terrain (assigning terrain and structure to the various teams) in a accurate fashion when building a TE?

Hi,
New version released. Latest is 0.3.3.0 have a look at the first post for the changes and fixes.
This version has 2 options that I did not have much time to test myself.
You can add squadrons (button under units)
For a squadron you can change the type of aircraft.
For these options (and all others as well) keep a eye open for bug.Enjoy,

Tested!
Works well , both TE and campaigns even changing the side of the A/C (Mig-29 to USA) but for example in some squad changes raises an exception (change Prowler by Raven or some transports)
