SimShaker for DCS World and Falcon BMS support thread

It took about 3-4 weeks for mine to get here.
You are very lucky, nearly 6 weeks and still waiting for mine. Andre was prompt in shipping, but it seems the delivery method is random and very unreliable. My package sat in Vnukovo international airport for nearly three weeks.
So prepare for possible two months delivery to North America.

Thanks for the feedback and your patience Michael,
I’m going to add an express delivery option in the e-shop. -

Are you in North America? I know mine didn’t have some updates that made it look like it was still in Russia but I think that was also actually the time it sat in customs and hadn’t got into USPS’s tracking system yet. Then when it made it into USPS I think the tracking only showed up on the USPS website immediately, not the Russian Post one.
Eventually, I am going to order another one from Andre due to the “One is none, Two is one” philosophy for stuff I deem as vital hardware but that probably won’t be until fall.

Yes I’m in North America. Has not reached my postal service tracking yet after 6 weeks. No sign of of it for last three weeks and last heard of in Russia.

RUSSIAN FEDERATIONHere I’m positive the Russian data didn’t pop up until it at least got to the Indianapolis location and may have not even showed up until later. I also think that it had to be in U.S. customs for awhile there too which on some other tracking I’ve had in the past did show up.
Also guys, there doesn’t seem to be very many BMS guys in the beta group. I’m in it but not testing (or just plain old flying BMS) as much these days due to the second job and getting ready to give finals. If you are on the fence, I would say give it a try!

This is all I have after 6 weeks.
Yours took 7 days to do what took 3 weeks for mine. Mine should be similar to yours.
Looks like I will have another week or so if my postal service ever gets it.29.03.2016 08:24

Looks like I will have another week or so if my postal service ever gets it.Yeah, I think that is either at your customs inspection facility or a still on a really slow boat over since it says “20.04.2016 05:19 Send item abroad (Export).” For me that tracking step was the beginning of my biggest gap (not as big as yours though for sure!): “Export of international mail 21.02.2016” and it doesn’t start U.S. tracking until it gets to Indianapolis March 7th. I highly doubt that mine went straight from Russia to Indianapolis, I would bet it went somewhere to a customs facility and wasn’t tracked while there. I wonder if Russian post flies or sails this level of mail over to North America.
-
It said that twice. >Send item abroad (Export)< on the 2nd and the 20th.
It spent 3 weeks in Vnukovo international airport. Something very wrong there. Now at least 3 weeks to get to North America. That is not very encouraging at all. They must have sent it by wheelbarrow!
-
Glad to hear I’m not the only one waiting. Been six weeks for me, last update was the 27th of April.
I’m still excited though!!!

I’ve submitted a request to postal administration regarding your package to move things faster. -

Andre,
Version 1.1.1.26 works fine now, without the “workaround”

Hi Andre,
I see now you use the JSF on (slow or fast) in shared mem to start the vibration, right? That’s the moment the EPU run light goes on.
Should check with pilots, and I bet someone on this forum also knows the answer, but I was under the assumption the vibrations start from the moment one starts JSF 1 of JSF 2, and the light only goes on later. If that is indeed the case, you should start vibrations the moment sharedmem JetFuelStarter bit is on instead. -

I start vibration with 50% gain at the moment sharedmem JetFuelStarter bit is on. At the moment the light goes on I increase gain up to 100%. -

I’m having issues with the power. I have all the software installed, I plug in the usb and the power cord (with a U.S. adapter) and its just not turning on. Of course I have tried multiple outlets that I know work. Of course the directions are in Russian, so I can’t read them, but I have everything plugged in. I switched the power to on, and I rotated the dial to high, but there is just no power. (No power light or anything.)
Is there some dumb mistake that I’m making?

Hi Scott,
please check than 13-pin black DIN connector between the seat and the control unit is not damaged.
Be carefull, do not apply brute force when connecting it. -
I will check it when I get home.
