Central Europe Theater

Are you sure? Want to fly from America to Europe or Asia or… etc …? Probably Falcon is not for you, man.
I think a 12-14 hour drag across the pond behind the gas tank would be a blast. At least I could get up to take a leak when it’s in the sim…

Also Neuburg (Germany) got added.
Plenty of new buildings which are created by Lazystone.
Now home of the EF2000Enjoy

Wow guys, this is already looking great. Any chance to have RAF Gütersloh included as well?
Keep up the great work & thanks for sharing those images!

Waah! Very nice!
All the best, Uwe

:headb:Very Very nice. I like it
-
Impressive, that looks really good!!!
-
Any chance a little more of the U.K can fit in? Taking off from Leuchars would allow RAF to protect the North Sea or go sub-hunting etc
Thinking the same myself, ghostdog, even a bit more of East Anglia would be good (RAF Lakenheath, Mildenhall etc.)

Oh and do mind, this is a old vid already! In the mean time I have merged the airbase tile with the other tiles, which looks a lot better.
The area around it still need a lot of forest added, but that comes when I have the time.Gr Falcas

I have updated the first post adding a list of all new airports and other objectives created so far.
This does not mean the theater does not contain other objectives, its full of it. However these are not new created ones.
The picture of the map has also been updated with all airbases on it.Plenty of work to be done still.

Falcas, that is an amazing work. I have a question. I see Bitburg on your list of airbases. Since Bitburg was closed as military AB in 1994, does that mean that you are modelling Central Europe before that time? The same apply to other ABs on your list. Just curious on how you are combining old airbases with modern tiles etc.
I know it is a long way to finish the theater, but I can´t wait to fly over the Pfalz the F-16Cs from Spangdahlem……cheers! -
Can’t wait for this theater to be released! Finally i will be able to fly over my own back yard  Nice work already!

A little quote from the first post of the thread:
The main focus for the theater will be the 80s central europe. One of the reasons is that a lot of airbases have been closed or disappeared completely. The other reason for this theater, isn’t this why the F-16 was build in the beginning?
With everything in life, you need to make concessions.
This theater is a hugh example of concessions. Especially while you will see a 1980s campaign and a current day campaign.
You can’t get color sat pictures from before 2000, so you need to work with what you can get.
Yes you are going to see tiles from 2004-2012 while flying a 1980s campaign. People will nagg about details being wrong, but in the end everybody will have fungr Falcas

What do you mean exactly? Like getting a beta version of it to test fly, evaluate and help develop the theater?
Im in for the testing part, but I have zero experience in 3D modelling and graphic designing. I don’t even know what programs to work with but im always down to give it a try!

Oh my kind of man… Happy that u said that.
Guess what…
All the dev’s and modders u see here (well most of them) when they started developing or modding for Falcon were at the same point where u r right now.
They didn’t know anything about it.
I can tell u and names if want proof of it but it’s pointless. So raise your sleeves and get to RTFM read guides try and find what fits you best on the active productive area of Falcon…

Why are tasks that I can help with, what still needs to be done on this theater?
-
Hey,
CET is not being build on 4.33, but a version after that.
Because of this it not releasable for now.Gr Falcas

I know it is a long way to finish the theater, but I can´t wait to fly over the Pfalz the F-16Cs from Spangdahlem……cheers! When I was a kid we regularly went to the Pfalz for our summer holidays (back then about a 5 hour drive from where I live now in northern Germany). I’ll never forget the moment when we stood on top of the “Trifels” castle tower and a pair of F-4s came screaming down the valley literally below us. We could look into the cockpit from where we stood, watching the planes maneuvering and snaking their way among the valley.
All the best, Uwe
