I can’t install Helios because it’s not recognizing the DirectX component and wants DirectX 9.0c. Has anyone gotten around this?

      Thanks

You can get a program that will install DX9.0c from Microsoft. You will have both versions of DirectX for use then.

I upgraded from 7 and Helios works fine, though I haven’t tried a clean install on Win10

I did. But the DX9.0c Gives me a dialog box that says "you must have windows 98se, XP, 2000…… and so on and so forth installed. I ran it in compatibility mode and it said all DX components installed within a microsecond but Helios still would not install. Other than XP and preceding versions (ME excluded), I ****ING HATE WINDOWS.
