F16 becomes unstable and unable to fix it.

Flying in a 4.33 campaign, Rolling Fire veteran level. Day 2 BAI mission out of Kangnung. Loaded with centerline tank, 8 GBU 12, 2 MRM and 2 AIM. Started bombing runs. Released 6 of the bombs and started a sharp turn back towards target but when trying to level out the nose starts to wobble significantly. Pich up and down approx. 5-10 degrees while at the same time yawing 5-10 degrees either way. Not hit by any sams, or aa or msl. Trim did nothing, releasing last bombs, ejecting the centerline. Sped up, slow down, no change. No errors in cockpit. Tried FLCS reset just for fun, but no change. It was like the wing wobble motion but much much more severe. I have an XPS8700 8 GB RAM GTX 960, good frame rates.
Not sure if this was a programmed to experience glitch or an known issue?
Thank you.
EDIT: I did locate the LCO discussion. Is this an example of it per chance? The demo tape sowing it was much less severe than what I experienced.

What was the position of each fuel gauge needles? What was the position of AP switches?

What was the position of each fuel gauge needles? What was the position of AP switches?
Thank you for mentioning this as I did forget to write that I checked those at the time as well: 1) AP switches not engaged, both in neutral (off) position 2) both gas needles appeared to be in normal position with the typical gap, I had approximately 3200 on gauge when this happened.

No idea here … sure you didnt had any battle damage ?

That was the first thing I thought of but nothing was in the air, no flak, no msl, no sam in area except a SA-13 which I was not over at time (I was flying at approx. 18,000 ft but I did double check that after mission over but nothing I could see).

Where was your trim needles?

Where was your trim needles?
All centered. I tried to used trim after this started and would not abate, but it only made a bad situation worse.

… so I do not know. Sorry.
Ejection was successful?

Would Tacview be useful in troubleshooting issues like this? I might start making it a habit.

Ejection was successful?
lol but I actually landed it. Since it was so felt similar to the severe weather landing training TE, I decided to try it, fully expecting to eject but, lo and behold, I did not crash.

… was it an “exiting” moment?
-
more exciting than exiting!

I had this also a few times, but when i tried to fly again, sometimes it didn’t happen again
could it be that you fast forward the game until the location and then…?

Although there are times that I do use fast forward on some long waypoints, but not for the entire stretch, this was not one of them as the waypoint was fairly close. I have actually never had any issues coming out of FF. Thanks for the idea though.

The AFM has a RK4 algo to solve the physical equations which can be sensitive to the time steps, so yes, oscillation can happen with fast forward acceleration. On the ground, you can even damage your AC.
Should go back to normal after you get back to x1 though.

more exciting than exiting!
Hehe. yeah you’re right!
So if it was exiting … so it is cool … IRL also shit happens.

Try “FLCS Rest” switch … it might help
its on the FLT Control Panel rear left consul above Manual trip panel.

Thanks, did try that, too no avail.
