ThX for answers,
i´ll try. -
I noticed that the carriers have the F/A-18A-C-D. Is there any way to get them to carry the F/A-18E-F in the campaigns?

you can use mission commander to edit save files (back them up first!)
hint: if you start a campaign, and save it before you hit “begin campaign” you can edit that file before fights are scheduled.

Thanks for the info. In my current campaign, the 232nd squadron has 5 F/A-18As. I went into the save file in Mission Commander and changed the airplane type for the 232nd to F/A-18F. I clicked on change aircraft and the roster shows up as F/A-18F (see below). Then I clicked on Apply to save it. At the main page (see second picture below), the 232nd still shows as F/A-18A. Also, when I go into BMS (third picture below), the roster remains the same. What am I doing wrong?

for the third pic, that doesn’t change, until you go into a campaign, and save again.
also, changing planes on an existing campaign with flights in the air/scheduled didn’t work for me either. I usually edit at the beginning of campaign. (start a new campaign, but dont click the “begin campaign”. save it, edit it, then open and fly)

Thank you! Editing the campaign before it starts works.

Hi
more stable with version WDP 3.5.1 -
Has anyone else noticed this?
If you use the F/A-18E/F on the carrier, the plane doesn’t actually attach to the catapult and you can’t launch with Shift+k. However, if you just line up correctly and put full AB, the plane will launch itself off the ship, as if it was attached to the catapult.
Also, upon landing/touching down on the ship, the plane won’t catch the wires but instead it will automatically decelerate immediately.
Just thought it was interesting.

Unfortunately, the F/A-18E/F have OFM. This behavior is common side effect of the OFM during carrier operations. The F/A-18A/B/C/D and F-14 have AFM which allows for their seamless catapult launch and trapping. That thy its the reason I did not include the SuperHornet in my release of Carrier War. When the SuperHornet receives an AFM, I am going to revise Carrier War.

I’m just glad that I can at least take off and land using the E/F versions. I LOVE the amount of ordnance that the Super Hornet is able to carry.

Chuckles
I have tried to install your mod twice and both times, none of the theaters show up. I must be doing something wrong, but I don’t know what it is. Does your mod install in the campaign folder?

Does your mod install in the campaign folder?
SobeNo, it’s an add-on theater and it goes in the Data folder, your \Falcon BMS 4.32\Data folder that is.

thanks in advanceIs there a possibility you did not do this step correctly:
Located the Theater.lst file located in the C:\FalconBMS 4.32\Data\Terrdata\theaterdefinition directory and open with MS Notepad. Copy and paste the following statements and place them after the last line of text:
Add-On-Korea-2012\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\Korea2012.tdf
Add-On-Korea-2012\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\EuroWar.tdf
Add-On-Korea-2012\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\CarrierWar.tdf -

Can you copy and display the text entries from your theater list notepad and display them in a post? Also, did you extract the Korea 2012 Megapack folder to the desktop, then cut and paste the Add-on-Korea-2012 folder into your C:\BMS\Data folder?

Are these new instructions?
