1 256x256this time it’s a sort of experiment/test
low number of textures , more features & “some” more poly … not to bad , but on my freeware and old 3d program , max resolution of texture is 1024x1024
so to texturing object with rescaled texture (4096x4096 to 1024x1024) it’s a little difficult , must to try somethig better -
IMHO… try to scale everything on 2048x2048. Don’t do extra tex… for lower Lods .
Try to put all models (normal, damaged, destroyed) on the same texture.
And one more thing … I see that you are using some stock features eg. Floodlights-dual?
So you have an extra 2x 512x512 unnecessarily loaded text …
If you add more stock … eg taxi signs (you have another extra textures… ie less FPS).
About more poly…Look at Kunsan or Kimpo how many polys is only in taxiway. Do you have more?This is my little two cents …

Nove, since I am in the Christmas spirit, you know these shots of yours, specifically the F-16 in the hangar with the engine removed being tested on the bench was the inspiration for me. Please keep it up man.

everytime I see your pictures, I want to push that Thank’s button multible times.
YOU have my highest respect for doing this 3D modelling project alone and continued.
But here are some constructive critism this time ,… if I may …
Your resolution of the opactity map of the inner roof brace is way to low,
and that’s why we see those ugly jaggies on the diagonals which will ruin your nice hangar a little.During my work for the abandoned Europe theater I’ve have been in the same dilemma.
Saving polys and spend some space on the opacity map or save map space and spend a few more polys.Long story short, … I this case I would delete those diagonals from the opacity map and
rebuild them with planes (left/right plane for one diagonal will be 4 polys/triangles),
so you’ll end up with around 32 more polys per span.If you’ve 5 spans at all then you’ld have 160 polys more than now, but the result will look way nicer IMHO.

the truth is …
i built hangar without roof brace , but roof texture is very low
so , i have darkened to disguise it
but it’s not sufficent
so with roof brace , in low res , you see ugly brace , and not ugly roof
