Tried to email you at [email protected] as per http://cougar.flyfoxy.com/sales.php but got a mail error. That leads me to fear the product is no longer available but just to be sure:

Do you still have any Cursor X/Y axis double pots available for sale (drop in or no drop in) and/or do you (or anyone else) know if Thrustmaster still happens to have non-presoldered ones available.

Also: if I had a spare throttle with a working cursor, is it easy to transplant those parts into my main throttle (without soldering) or is it complex? (I am not a very mechanically inclined person sadly lol)

      Thanks!

        I’m out mate:

it’s easy. Just unlug the pot from the PCB, lift the cylinder, remove the pot from the cylinder and replace the spare one, plug it in PCB
Same for microstick. although the hard part is opening the throttle handle and making sure you don’t severe a wire when you close it

replacing is easy, possibility to screw up are high, so act with caution, double check everything and you’ll do fine

Yeah I wasnt sure if that thread applied to the Microstick ones as well or just the basic stick and throttle pots.

Copy about the replacement options, and just for my further SA to make sure I understand: the physical microsticks themselves are just staying in the throttle, correct? I’m unplugging the pots and swapping them out but everything else just stays?

Should be an interesting project 🙂

the pot is in the Throttle base
it’s the part at the end of red, Brown and orange wire

The microstick on the other hand is Inside the throttle handle which is a pain to re-assemble
seen at the bottom of the belwo picture:

I have spare Cougar throttle microstick pot part for sale at reasonable price. Pot is soldered to the small PCB with high temp solder, tho, so not real easy to replace without proper tools. Any electronics shop will probably do it if needed.
