Hi Falcas,
you know it was christmas and this got me an used ebook reader. Now I’d like to use this as Kneeboard for Datacards. A quick test with OF Datacard (A5 format) was very encouraging. But when eagerly trying WDP, I realized the print is fixed to A4 (good for paper, bad for my eReader).
So long story short: Can you please add an option to print the Datacard as two pages (A5)?Thanks
Wolfman -
lol no need just use zoom function…
-
Evidently Arty thinks he knows the capabilities of every e-reader on the planet, and thus is certified to make development decisions for software he didn’t code.
-
yes i do. thanx.
print it in pdf format. every pdf reader has zoom also jpg have… if kindle cant handle those simple tasks paint it blue and tosh it to the sea…
the blue paint in case u wonder is for camo so not to scare the fish… :rofl:I’m not saying no i just point some solutions in case the request will not happen.

Can I just confirm…(having trouble getting this straight in my old head)
If I use WDP to set default frequencies (e.g. Red Side in Korea), that if I then fly a multiplayer mission in Israel for blue side, that I need to go back to WDP and select blue side defaults?
In other words, there’s only one set of frequencies copied to your /ini file, and WDP doesn’t know what theatre you’re flying in (therefore you can’t have different default frequency settings for different theatres).
-
Correct. There is only one callsign.ini file where the frequencies are stored.

finally i’ve installed this phantastic app. thanks a lot

Hello Falcas
I am a noobie just getting to grips with BMS and WDP - I have a related question.
If I open an existing TE mission in WDP I can see all the STPTS and other items including the Airbase Frequencies for DEP and ARR. I just “Save DTC” from the loaded items (unedited). I then run the TE and load the DTC but when I am in the 3D Cockpit I see a different frequency on COM1 to the airbase tower that I am departing from and I have to then manually change COM1 to talk to the correct airbase tower. Should the DTC not have transferred the correct airbase freq when I saved the Mission to DTC from WDP? -
u have to load the dtc once u get in to the cockpit. The pilot goes with his disk to the aircraft and plugs the disk to its place. then he loads the data.

Hello Arty. thanks for the reply. I am loading the DTC from the UI Button just before I hit ‘Takeoff’ icon and the aircraft is started on Runway so DTC should have already been loaded? Only does not load DTC for Ramp Start? Anyway for example if I use the pre-made ‘Long Travel’ TE which is supposed to start from Choongwon UHF 230.15MHz - except the COM1 is showing as 297.5MHz. If I then load the DTC from the DTE in the 3D cockpit then COM1 shows as 15. (presumably Channel 15?) Perhaps I am missing a step or assuming that WDP transfers Airbase frequency when in fact it does not?

When you enter 3D BMS will overwrite your DTC. But you have a timer on the left side in the WDP. When your DTC is ready and when you entering 3D start the timer and it will save your DTC every 30seconds.
-
to get the airbase freq just on comms in dtc hit set tower then save. when u get in u will hear the tower.

Hello Arty - got it now - thanks for the advice

Hey Falcas great program!
But if I change the wingspan range to 32 from 35 feet in dtc/systems/icp WDP(3.4.7) this doesn’t update my Falcon ini file, as when I enter the 3d world my wingspan range still shows 35 feet. However I altered my bingo setting using WDP and this did change in 3d.
Any idea’s?

Hi Falcas,
thank you very much….

Hey Falcas, thanks for getting back to me.
I double checked and WDP is loading the correct ini file I use for falcon. I still have the same issue that my wingspan range is default at 35 feet(although I changed it to 32 feet in WDP), wheras I changed my bingo fuel in WDP and falcon recognises this change. I have a friend who has the same issue. Any other idea’s?
