Why can’t I load campaign missions in wdp? Cheers
File->Open Mission, select your campaign file.

Hi guys,
How accurate is the PopUp in WDP? Because I put in the numbers from an IRL Popup attack and got a totally different result.
Is there a manual for the Popup in WDP? Perhaps I did something wrong… -

I’ve done WDP planend popups (not since 4.34) and they’ve been good enough. If you want to compare a particular profile sourced elsewhere, I’m curious to see it. -

Thx for the link -
In case it’s not known already, on the map, airports names/data shows TWR 233.7 and 233.8 for most of them.

Hey Falcas,
i noticed that the AIP charts used by WDP (when saving datacard) are pretty old.
I assume they are built-in and hence could need an update for 4.34?Anything to hope for?
cheers

Is there a manual for the Popup in WDP? Perhaps I did something wrong…The calculations for the Pop-Up are all from the Vol 5. So they are very real.

MagicHey Magic,
Nope not “build-in” but fully open for everybody to amend as they see fix.
Just take a look at the Charts directory in the WDP install.Gr Falcas

Hi guys,

Is there a manual for the Popup in WDP? Perhaps I did something wrong…do you use the reference point such as OA1, OA2, VRP etc …
As I already have suggested to Falcas, “OA1, OA2, VRP etc … should now take into account the reference altitude of target in WDP because it doesn’t now and since 4.34, the elevations are now corrected in DIST DED page”
so this is why, you can have different results especially if the target altitude is not on sea level… -
since the last version , the type of formation is not written in Datacard once the mission is loaded : the column of form shows blank

Because neither one matches the BMS recon elevation. Falcas’ WDP does match the BMS recon elevation. This begs the question: Are the BMS cockpit elevations correct or is the BMS recon elevation correct? Here are some pictures related to the underground factory near Soktam-Ni.

try it and you will see
When you select a ground target, the target altitude is taken into account for WDP
FYI: I can’t see your screenshots
-
4.34 isn’t doing elevations from DTC so you have to enter those manually on the ramp
-
You guys know that pop-up is a visual attack right ?
-
You guys know that pop-up is a visual attack right ?
yes but now , you need to prepare your attack with time & space deconfliction : formulas calculated by WDP provide you every keys to flight safe…(escape safe with mra etc …)
otherwise, you can be hit by your own bombs or by your wingmen bombs… -

Not seeing the attachments must be a malfunction of the BMS forum.
The four attachments would show that DED DEST #7, DED STPT #7, BMS Recon TGT #7 and WDP PopUp screen for TGT #7 all show the same latitude and longitude: Lat 38.50.16 Long 127.17.021. The elevation for the BMS DEDs is 1291. The elevation for BMS Recon and Falcas WDP is 1109. Seems like if you’re planning an attack you would use Falcas’ WDP, which matches the BMS recon. Still the question remains: which elevation is correct? The BMS DEDs or (WDP and BMS recon)?
Edit: Since using the icon “Upload Image” didn’t work, I will try to use the icon “Attachments”. It should show the pictures.

I try different cases : the target elevation is always correct in any case ( DED, WDP, 2D UI)
in my opinion, there is something wrong when you assign the target and you designate the target as TGP stpt
did you save well the DTC before flying?

Yes I did save the DTC before flying. And Falcas has not changed his remarks that his calculations are correct, and his calculations are based on the BMS recon elevation, which I have shown to be different that BMS DEDs. Could you put up pictures of your target’s DED STPT, DED DEST, BMS recon and Falcas WDP?
Edit: Mission Commander also shows the elevation as 1109.

Hi Falcas,
Would it be possible to implement a “custom” delivery profile on the datacard? One where all the fields are yellow, i.e. editable. This would also present a workaround for the issues people have been having with the OA elevations being at MSL, since they could just adjust them on the datacard and input the correct values in-game.
Thanks in advance,Nicolas
Edit:
Another option would be to be able to input values for OA’s and VRP’s and such in the DTC in WDP directly, but in my mind this would be a more complex thing to implement. -
Hi guys.
I downloaded the latest version of WDP (3.7.12 build 125), and I ran into an error, and I don’t see this was reported before.
I got error message when I click on wingman slot in the Flight section (DataCard Tab), and the loadout section become empty.
I tried with different flights, same result.I attach here a screenshot, and I copied the whole error message into txt file (The error message is partly Hungarian, but I hope the coders will understand the issue ).
