what about f16.
is server working or nor -
F-16 works fine, all variants … I just tried flying the Mirage recently and the MFD server crashes as soon it goes into 3D. I’m guessing that the Mirage pit has different MFD texture locations?

May be.
I have to google it. -
komurcu,
I received my second tablet today; any progress on getting multiple tablets running simultaneously? Thanks!

Good Fly -
Hey komurcu,
First of all, great app/software. I’ve tried it today and it works fine.
After playing with it a bit for the first time today, following installation instructions and all, I have a few questions/remarks.
1. Version number
Please add version numbers to the server software and the apk. Either in their name (ex: FalconMFD1.3.apk, or in the settings; same in the server software, a simple number somewhere would suffice)
You update quite frequently, and it would be easier to check what version one has installed on the computer and the tablet.2. Masked info
On my 7" Nexus 7, the Chaff information is hidden, as you can see here: Unknown Chaffs quantity
There can be some free screen space, depending on the screen width. Maybe this could be used.3. MFD frame rate
The frame rate is quite low. Moving the antenna, seeing the FCR scan goes left to right, a turn on the HSD: the frame rate on the tablet is at around 10 images per seconds, compare to 60 in the 3D cockpit.
Is there a way to increase the frame rate?4. Screen always on
Can you make it so that the tablet screen never automatically turns off?
I can do that manually in the Android settings, but I like this function. Can this be done on the FalconMFD app? Maybe with a “never sleep” permission?5. Google Play
Will you publish the app to Google Play? It would be easier to be notified of an app update.Alright, I’m done for now.
Thanks again for your app, you’re doing an amazing job.
CheersG.

you can change frame rate from here and save it.
But i thing problem is on you tablet or pc.
Because 100 ms is enough.5. Google Play

ArtyI want to learn what do you want.
I mean. Is one screen include 2 MFD
second screen ICP and DED and
last screen should be MAPs.or
there is only one MFD on one screen,
second MFD should be in other screen ….please write me .
Thanks

First tablet ICP
Second tablet MFD (left mfd) and some left panel switches like master arm.
Third tablet MFD (right mfd) and some right panel switches.there was an app for pocket pc in the past look at this:
Where u see the whole cockpit the grey areas are not active. It would be great if something like this was build and have the whole cockpit and select the panel u wish to use. The resolution u see there is 640x480. So it fits everywhere. If u want I can help on creating the panels if u want different resolutions or on of states etc. Sure after I finish the runways - taxiways.
Also having other panel-switches would be nice but for later versions maybe…
That way having 3 tablets u could rampstart the F-16 from the tablets like virtual switches of the whole cockpit.
The setup is the same for 3 tablets. One in the center (center console switches) one left side one right side. On the left tablet to switch and view the cockpit left side panels and switches and on the right tablet to view the cockpit right panels and switches.
That way u can have a whole virtual cockpit and no need to build a home cockpit. And with the prices of the tablets this is way doable I believe for many users that will praise u for years…
I was about to start such an app when 4.32 was released, but my programming skills ain’t that good…

why not.

komurcu,
I’ve taken the liberty of throwing together a mockup of what I’ve envisioned for how I’d like my two-tablet setup to work. I also like Arty’s idea of having the option of an ICP-only tablet display; that’d be great for those who want to run three tablets at a time. For those of us who want to/are only able to do a two-tablet setup instead of three, though, this is the sort of layout that I have in mind: First, I liked being able to select left and right side displays in previous versions of the program in order to have an MFD and the RWR on one and the ICP and other MFD on the other. That way, users can set up their displays from left to right as LMFD, RWR, ICP, RMFD (i.e., the same order from left to right in which they’re laid out in the actual cockpit). As you’ll see, along with the RWR display, in my hastily-assembled mockup I’ve suggested one possible layout for the warning/indicator lights/buttons on the left and right eyebrows of the cockpit:
One final suggestion: set up a PayPal account to take donations! It’s amazing how much work you’ve put into this and continue to put into it, and how responsive you’ve been to bug reports and feature requests. I’d love to be able to give back for some of the time you’ve devoted to this; my guess is that I’m not the only one.

i like arty’s idea.
and i started to develop that.
in 3-4 days i will finish .
you can use 2-3 tablets -
Will the new version that works with 2-3 tablets still allow users to view the MFDs, RWR and ICP/DED all at once? I do like Arty’s idea of having interactive switch panels available for left and right tablets like to Pocket PC app did, but I’m concerned less with ramp starts and more with having the most essential information and interfaces right in front of me at a glance in the heat of battle. For me that’s the four items that were originally available (the main interfaces through which the pilot interacts with the jet–viz., the LMFD, RWR, ICP/DED, RMFD)–thus the request to keep the RWR and add the eyebrow indicators/buttons to the half of the screen that it occupies. If you’re going to add more selectable screens that will allow users to pull up various cockpit panels, is there a chance that some of the screens that users will be able to select can have a layout similar to the ones that I mocked up in Photoshop? In any case, it’s a great program that looks like it just keeps getting better with all the new features and capabilities you’re adding to it; thanks!
-
i will try to like that.
it will support 5 tablets. (if you have)
1- Left MFD
2- Right MFD
3- ICP-DED
4- RWR
5- Maps -
new view

OOOOoooooo
u r spoiling us…
I tested today the new apk and server and it was very very smooth. No MFD views just the buttons.
From what I tested till now it’s the most smooth of all.
Minor glitch the switch button from ICP to MFD’s, but it must be from my tablet, some times needs 2-3 tries to get the command and switch.
oh and since we r asking add the following to the list please…
Kneeboard for the forth Tablet  :
Meaning the ability to display photos or pdf from WDP or from squad briefing. So inside MFD server have a folder (or select the folder via browse) for mission files.
There user put’s it’s photos and then views them from the tablet.
If they r photo files (A5 size from WDP I believe r fine) to have the ability to slide left right and go to next - previous photo. Also zoom IN-Out (2 fingers) and fit to screen.
If they r pdf the ability to change page back and forth.
Also a blank page for last minute notes, where the user can write with his finger notes on the fly. After that I believe the whole package is covered.
In the photos the user can put Navaids - MAPS and whatever thinks is needed for his mission.Sure user can use other apps to do the previous but in the fury of the flight having one tool to accomplish all saves the day.
