I have flown this mission many times and I do not believe my weapons landed in the same zip code for the target. I have the exact target locked up in the TGP page. The target becomes visible on the weapons page. I am moving through the STRP, and TRANS mode and into the TERM mode with the FUSE ARM on. I am controlling the weapon with the cursor controls and the weapon always seems to hit way short. I can see the target seem to rise on the weapons page. I never have seen the LOCKED symbology. I wish that I figure this out, however, it seems that I am in need of some help on this issue.

      Thanks.

        Are you in Range?

Maybe for a quick test, put in the Autopilot in the weapon, wo see if it still falls short

Hi, Maybe this will help or not but if you do it simply this way, there is no way you should miss:

GBU-15 since the latest update is a Generation 1 MITL weapon, i.e it has no stable mode and you just have to drive it “manually” until the hit, so don’t look for the “lock” symbol or something like that (If you need more info to understand the different generations, please re-read the MITL section in the manual).

If you always fall short then I think maybe you are turning too early to TERM mode causing the bomb to fly a high AOA profile which eventually will cause it to fall short, don’t forget it’s an unpowered bomb, so you have to manage its energy profile carefully. See the square dot in the MFD in my vid? that represents where the weapon is actually pointing relative to the camera position, if in the final seconds before the hit, the square isn’t in the middle, that means that your bomb is flying a tough profile to try and catch the target and probably will over/under shoot. If you manage energy correctly and switch to TERM at the right timing, then you should have NP to hit. See I switch to TERM pretty late in the flight, let the bomb come with angle of at least 40-45 degrees is the key to a successful hit.
