ECM and IECM question

As I’ve said, the documentation I am refereeing to is not included to any Technical Order (like the -34-1-1-1).

Nice explanation Blu3wolf.:thumb:
I just wanted to breathe some life into this thread by adding: the ALQ-128 for the F-15 isn’t a jammer, however it’s perhaps understandable why it fits under the ‘ALQ’ designation.
As for the ALQ-131 & ALQ-184, I tried to provide a write-up of how the panel functions, sans jammer programme descriptions here: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?26354-ECM-pods&p=375694&viewfull=1#post375694

Hi all !
I’m resurrecting this old but interesting thread(I wasn’t the 1st, as I can see …) because there’s smg I don’t understand, or I’m not sure about .
-
As I read on other threads/posts before , it seems there’s any differences between the different kind of ECM pods in BMS, except their weight and drag coefficient . Does this apply too to the Soviet/Russian ECMpods(S 141 , Sorbitsya…) , or are they “fake pods” ?
-
How do I know if a plane is internally or externally fitted(or nothing at all) with an ECM pod ? Should I check in the AcData ? If yes, where are the lines that refers to the Jamming capability ?
EDIT : And the older pods like the BOZ ? Does it actually works or is it only for the eye-candy ?
EDIT 2 : Last question : I’ve fitted a F111 with a Tornado pit as I thought they look pretty the same . When I fly it , an I power the ECM , I can see “ECM” flashing directly on the FCR if I’m in A-A mode , plus a button is flashing in board(as usal) : in this plane I’m always sure my ECM is jamming .
But on the other planes , nothing appears on the FCR(althought there’s still a button flashing somewhere …) : Does that means on the other plane I’m not doing correctly , or simply that every pit has its own style, regarding the ECM ? I was wondering, as all the avionics are from the F16 in all pits …

Check the ACdata. There is a line refers to ECM internal or not in the Avionics section
-
Thanks, but could you please be a little more precise ? I’m looking in it, I compared some planes between them to see where was the different lines , but I’m still doubful …
Is it the line “rwrType” ? or another ? I’m still confused
where are the lines that refers to the Jamming
That’s precisely what I don’t find and I would like to know .

Thanks for the help …
Sorry I got it wrong. I think there is no way to edit ECM capability in the ACdata.
-
to edit ECM capability
No problem , but I don’t want to edit anything(unless it is absolutely necessary , for example if a TGP capability has been forgotten) .
I’m just looking for a way to check , with no doubt, if(and how) a plane is jammer capable .
Thank you anyway ,for having taking the time to answer.
regards,
-EDIT-
Finally have it … The answer was simple . I should have read more ressources (but there are so many in that sim ! )
Anyway , my bad : The superb The Vault had all the answer I need .
Hundreds thanks and hats off for the writer of this document (Tee Square ? I’m not sure)
