I succeeded to edit, normally I follow my above method.
In the last step, I must put the new Unit under the “Side 4 =Armored/Mech” last line, not insert in, then I can find my custom Unit at TE.
Recently I start to learn some CAS Knowledge from wiki and some DCS (because A-10 have a lot of CAS article), like 9-Line and radio transmission etc…
But a lot of them is tell you how to use 9-Line, I can’t find a true flight plan. (or I miss something…)
I wondering these question:
1. Normally in real world the CAS F-16 will stay how far away for standby ? (like CP position)
2. What type F-16 will flight at standby position? (pattern, pattern’s size)
3. When JTAC call a CAS mission, what is the average time the flight will arrive ?
I knew the area will depend on air defense threat, so I assume these question is at War on Terror (like ISIS), we only face on some MANPADS and light arms.
If there is a true Route plan or CAS Mission image will be better.

No, not work.
I use this step:
1.Copy and remake Armored - M1A1’s class table.
2.Copy and remake Armored - M1A1 in Units, and edit it’s CT id to the latest I make one, and edit it’s content and name.
3.Change that latest CT’s File Offset with same the latest Unite I make.
4.Change that CT’s Specific to a new number.
5.Go to you say teunits.lst and add it under the “Side 4 =Armored/Mech”.
After these, still not work.
Hi, I want to add some custom allied & enemy battalion into TE, let me can add by mouse right-click.
I download F4Browse v2.31 and modify that is already existing in-game battalion. This process can success when I in TE, I can add this battalion and with my custom Unit.
But when I want to add a new battalion, there is a problem, it will not show in game.
I try to use “Add Copy” to remake a battalion(I use “Armored - M1A1”), then I rename “Armored” to “Single”, and delete 15 x M1A1 let only one tank in this battalion. Save and launch game, but I can’t find and add this custom battalion in TE.
Is I done wrong in any step?
(And I don’t very understand what mean about “CT Record”, can anyone explain what is CT for me?)

Recently I look into Lightning’s MFD Extractor source code, want to figure out how BMS team shared HUD & MFD with another API.
I use Free Falcon source code to practice this technical.
Right now I know we should copy the image’s pointer to texture shared memory.(Call:FalconTexturesSharedMemoryArea)
But I stuck on I don’t know what type and structure should let image be.(or how to transformed HUD & MFD DirecDraw to this structure)
Is Free Falcon’s Directx 8.1 can do this same function just like BMS? (Directx 9 I guess)
I ask this because I am very curious on this function.

Is BMS have any script can command BMS spawn object when game is running?
And can use script to control object movement or spawn position?
It was not a joke, and interestingly enough…the project was dead until recently.
Someone else asked me about reviving it (They want more realistic CAS in ARMA) and I’ve been looking into it. The issue is that Falcon BMS has changed dramatically since my last good build, and I have to update the software to keep pace with the current BMS builds. Almost every BMS build has changed the memory hard points.

Will you want try to cooperate with BMS team to add compatibility function directly into BMS Falcon? Just like DIS/HLA.
That will allow Falcon’s player can see ArmA entity’s movement and object(eg. ArmA transfer Tank position data to Falcon, and Falcon’s tank object move synchronize with this data.). And not just ArmA can see bomb position.
That will be wonderful if this coming……
