Enjoying this theater. Thanks

If you can use the Cougar Control Panel with the VSS-WE module it should be visible also in Target Software which I use.
Examples:
SetCustomCurve(&Throttle, SCX, CURSORX_HIGH); OR
SetSCurve(&Throttle, SCX, 0, 50, 0, 20, -2.5);
I use to have a Cougar Hotas and used Target to tweak my DIY force mod.

I found you can edit NvgMask.dds using Gimp. I tinted the white circle until the NVG was useable low-level.

Falcon 3.0 in the early 90s and now this!
@bstar07 In 2d, enemy units appear when friendly units fly over it. If it is an assigned target in 3d ask Awacs for vector to target.
Just installed Ice’s profile, It has come a really long way it is fantastic! I have spent many dozens of hours on my profile which is based on an early version on Ice’s profile and it doesn’t come close. Thank You!
…our wing since we discovered the method of server in the cabin at night and rendering 3d, the runway lights always turn on even during the day.
Share?
@VIPER-0 I read that it only happens on edited campaigns, yet when I tested it on a new campaign using my stand alone server without the no render option, there were no runway lights other than the vasi and running rabbit?
@SoBad I seem to remember this is a very old bug that the work around is so automatic I can’t remember it.
@VIPER-0 Thank you for the info.
Runway lights will not come on during night operations when using a stand alone server. I am using g_bNoRender . Airfield is pitch black for ramp start, takeoff and landing. Is there a work around so I can use NoRender?
Question: Has anyone successfully used the current Vietnam Theater in multiplayer? We tried to use it a couple of weeks ago and all clients kept crashing to desktop while going from 1st chat to 2nd chat. I use a dedicated server and the server has no problem with the Vietnam theater going from 1st chat to 2nd chat and then 3D. And, I have no problems flying Vietnam by myself, on my main machine. Others have no trouble flying Vietnam by themselves. We are using U3.
Hosted a JTAC a KTO campaign mission on my laptop. I was flying online on a separate computer with 2 humans in my flight. After 9line, as lead, I called for smoke, I then see the smoke in the TGP at the target. The others in my flight can’t see smoke in their TGPs. This has happened 3 separate times. Lasing works great. Everyone can see each other’s hits with blast and smoke. Is there a server setting I could try?
This is the mission I created using the Add Package command in BMS. I edited it to add the 1st Airborne to provide JTAC. I flew it an everything worked perfectly.
But with 4 flyers I wanted an alternate target so I moved steerpoint 6 over a target. Steerpoint 5 is still targeting the 223rd tank battalion.
Now the 1st Airborne will only report information for steerpoint 6 the 193rd motor rifle battalion even though I am targeting the 223rd battalion at steerpoint 5.
To test it out I moved steerpoint 6 76 miles away to another target. Re flew the mission again. When I get in range of the 1st Airborne it gave me info for the target 76 miles away, not for the target still at steerpoint 5.
Note: Even if i delete steerpoint 6 JTAC give info for where steerpoint 6 used to be! I had to delete the whole package and recreate it to get the mission to target steerpoint 5 again.
First I would like to say Thank You for JTAC it is fun and works really well. Now for a small bug. When setting up a “Preplanned CAS” mission there are 2 target steerpoints. Usually 5 and 6. Steer 5 will usually be the point with the target I selected when setting up the package. If I leave steerpoint 6 alone, JTAC works as designed and all targeting information is for steerpoint 5. But if I drag steerpoint 6 to any target, no matter how far from the friendly ground unit, steerpoint 6 becomes the primary target. All information. Echo, 9Lines, smoke, lasing. everything is for the targets at steerpoint 6. I have tested this on several Campaigns in the KTO theater.
@Leech I was using the ‘radar cursor zero’ callback in the air-ground mode. I eliminated that and the cursor stayed centered in sweep. Problem solved.
@Leech Initially, my ground radar works like the diagram but after awhile the cursor position is not centered in the horizonal scan but closer, outside the scan. Making it impossible to lock on to any targets… Short of backing all the way out to desktop, I can’t reset to to the center of the band. This happens normally when using mavericks. But switching to different weapon doesn’t reset the cursor position.

How did you get an update for windows 7. It is not supported by Microsoft anymore? Was the update for you graphic card? I used Win 7 up to about 7 months ago then switched to Win 10. Started getting more and more problems because support programs are update using Win 10.
You can set affinity in a shortcut to start automatically. Here is one link of many that shows how to do it. https://www.eightforums.com/threads/cpu-affinity-shortcut-for-a-program-create-in-windows.40339/… But then I just found this which will makes me reconsider not using affinity.
Quote: Assigning CPU affinities to specific executables is a bad idea. Setting affinity on a process doesn’t reserve a CPU for that process you specify, locking out all other processes from that CPU. It just says that that process can only use the designated CPU.
It might be better to leave BMS alone, and use affinity to ‘limit’ other programs.
Well , back to the drawing board.
