RE: Please help with BMS 4.33 U2 install
Thank you Blu3wolf sir. I downloaded Vuze. Vuse created for me a second ‘Falcon BMS 4.33 u1 Setup’ file’ containing a new ‘data’ file. I
transferred it’s contents into the ‘‘data’ file in my previously existing ‘Falcon BMS 4.33 U1 Setup’ file, then,as I remember, re-ran the ‘Setup.exe’ …
my new ‘Falcon BMS 4.33 U1 Setup’/data’ file looks like this …and upon launching from the UI, I get this …
I think I’ve got it but, just to confirm, everything look as it should?

RE: HOTAS Cougar Vs Windows 10
Nephilim, Habu … thank you kindly for your responses. No, Nephilim - I had installed the (3_HCO_2004.exe).
I corrected that by installing the (2007_HCO_VISTA_64_RC1.exe). It took me awhile, and I’m not quite sure exactly how
I managed it, but long story short, I was able to get (Sttubedevice203.dll) into my Windows/SysWOW64. Referring to
other instructions I’d googled up on the subject, I found my ‘Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar’ device no longer had the
warning label attatched to it. And ultimately I was able to cleanse and reflash my flightick. I can try recreating my exact
steps for you if you want Nephillim, but I know now it is possible to do (yea, I covered a lot of territory today so I’m a
little foggy on my exact steps right now). I’m on to studying the Foxy manual presently cuz I’m still havin a quite time
of calibrating everything … but definitely progress here. Thanks guys, I thought I was ‘dead-in-the water’ there for a bit. -
RE: HOTAS Cougar Vs Windows 10
Hi guys, judging by this thread, some have had success with Win10 regarding the TM HOTAS Cougar. To facilitate a (manual) throttle calibration, I decided to download Foxy.
As per instructions at ‘Cougar Flyfoxy’, I cleared the TM firmware from the stick (to make way to input new firmware to the stick)……[note: no software came with the stick]
……
Attempting to download TM firmware to the stick with the HOTAS Cougar Update function, I encounter the following …… (the flightstick is connected, btw)
…………
I’m thinking that the problem has to do with the ‘Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar’ device status given by Win10, which is displayed with a warning label and with two status messages … 1.) Needs troubleshooting……2.) Driver is unavailable
……
Problem is, when I try to apply the fix (as provided for by Win10), I encounter messages telling me the drivers for this device are not installed … and … that there are no drivers for this device (verified on the TM site there are no drivers required).
…………
Does this mean then that I am unable to flash my stick after having just cleared it? lol … help! -
RE: Feedback BMS Manual 4.33u1
I’m new user, but judging purely from the contexts, I may have found a minor error in …
BMS1F-16CM-1
Flight Manual Falcon BMS 4.33, (ver 2)Initially I noted it in my printed copy of dash 1 (from Lulu). The top of the printed page says BMS 4.33 Change 1.05 … but the error (if it is one) exists also in the Change 1.06 version on both the the BMS Forum’s link to dash 1 and the UI menu (under Documentation).
pg 79, (change 1.06)……as documented……submit it should be
……FCR: FCR cone and ghost radar cursors
……PRE: pre-planned steerpoints and their threat rings.
……AIFF: IFF response (not currently implemented)
……LINE1: DTC line 1 (steerpoints 31 to 35)
……LINE2: DTC line 2 (steerpoints 36 to 40)
……LINE3: DTC line 4 (steerpoints 41 to 45)…… LINE3: DTC line 3 (steerpoints 41 to 45)

RE: GROUND SPEED
BMS Training Manual, 4.33 (ver1.0),
pg 21 … ‘Rolling on the ground these probes are ineffective and the HUD cannot display your ground-speed’
… 'Maximum ground-speed might change from one country to … ‘but generally you should stay below 25 kts in straight lines and 10 kts in turns.’
… ‘The INS page of the DED is the only way to get this information on the ground. Push ICP 6. Your ground-speed is given in the
right corner of the DED …’pg 24 … ‘Rotation speed is the point at which … rolling to flying. It is a very important parameter you should know for every take-off.’
I’m new and working my way through the Training Manual’s Ramp Up procedure…
My understanding (from the Training Manual, pg 25) is that rotation speed is anywhere from (127 – 165 kts) depending … and that
it is a very important parameter. So my question is … ‘why doesn’t ICP 6 display my ground-speed on the DED when I taxi?’
I have searched the forums. It seems the GS indicator on the DED works for others. I tried testing to see if maybe there was a limit under which
the GS indicator doesn’t kick in. I thought I had the jet going pretty fast, but GS indicator still never showed up on the DED.
And I did check out the dash 1 manual … Please throw me a rope here, I’m drowning … -
RE: Weapon Delivery Planner released
I focused on 7zip and was met with success … much appreciated. I found my rotation speeds I was looking for. Thanks to you and your team for WDP - it looks awesome.

RE: Weapon Delivery Planner released
Falcas, can you help me please? Using the link in the box at the bottom of your post, I’ve managed to download ‘Weapons_Delivery_Planner 3.7.3.70 (1).7z’ … From within my download folder, a right-click on this file doesn’t show an option to unzip it. When I left-click on the file, I’m shown a page that says ‘Blank Page’, ‘Search or enter web address’, and at the bottom, says ‘Do you want to open Weapons Delivery Planner from USERPC?’ … when I elect to open it, I am shown another ‘Blank Page’ … granted I don’t have a lot of experience with downloading and/or zip files but … what am I missing here?
If it matters I’m on Win 10 (X64), and just recently downloaded BMS 4.33 u1 successfully. Red Dog’s ‘BMS 4.33 (v1) Training Manual’ , Section 1.5 on Takeoff (pg 24) led me to this point in his discussion of rotation speed. It kinda pointed me to WDP.
I tried first, downloading the other two programs needed Net somethin or other, and C++,
as called upon in another of your posts. I think I already have them by what it told me. But I can’t be sure - I wouldn’t know where to look. But I’m thinking if I can download WDP, then maybe it will tell me if I’m needing these prerequisite programs and further direct me as needed… Am I being clear on this? I feel like a snail trying to make sense to a rocket scientist …
