I´m newbie and still reading the manual, but I noticed one thing on my HUD and don´t know hot to change it. Can´t see the airspeed tape (indicator with the number) on the HUD. I got the scales, but not the numbers (speed). Hot to make this tape appears?

RE: Lightning´s MFD
Ok. Everything is working fine!
The treasure map:
1 - Uninstall MFDE and clean the registry entries. I use a program called REVO Uninstaller, and everything is swept from the computer (files, archives, registry entries);
2 - Erase the file “Username/AppData/Local/MFDExtractor” (I think this is very important);
3 - Reboot;
4 - Install MFDE (last version 6.1.1), and run it (in admin mode);
5 - Setup MFDE like Shadow´s post on this thread;
6 - Make sure “Cockpit Display to external windows” is OFF in BMS configuration
7 - Run BMS (in admin mode).Voilá. Now it´s time to set Helios……

RE: Lightning´s MFD
I´ve downloaded a previous version (5.9) and the gauges worked well, but not the MFD´s. I can live with that (use CDE for the MFD´s and the rest for MFDE). Not an integrated and elegant solution, but……May be, next version of MFDE brings the corrections that the program needs…

RE: Lightning´s MFD
First, apologize for the term app. Lesson taken!
Second, it´s not happening. I used the adjustments Shadow showed me, but no luck. There is no conexion between the program and the sim. Can´t explain!
Third, lesson taken and appreciated!
Fourth, I deselected MFD´s in Extractor, and left only an altimeter but still no joy! It didn´t work in 3d world of the sim. The problme is not related to MFD (at least for now)…
I think you´re referring to “Cockpit Display in external views” and not “Enable Cockpit Extraction”. Ticked on and off and both ways my altimeter didn´t work…
May be is something related o the new BMS sim (U1)… Don´t know… If someone has the sim working along the extractor, please show me his configuration (BMS and extractor), and I may test in my rig (the videocard is a GTX 970, so I don´t think the problem is related to the graphics). -
RE: Lightning´s MFD
Ok. I know for sure this option is not checked in BMS configuration, and I´ll check it later. I didn´t check this option in BMS configuration because I thought it would automatically bring displays directly from BMS, and I would have gauges and MFD´s duplicated (one set from the Extractor and the other from BMS directly). But I´ll try later and see what happens… Thanks for now…

RE: Lightning´s MFD
I don´t have a second computer. I have one single computer with two monitors……My status on networking tab (Falcon MFD Extractor Options) is standalone. Do I have to change this option?

RE: Lightning´s MFD
Thx. I hadn´t seen the little icon in the system tray….But now I have another doubt: how to bind the gauges of the program to the sim? I tried adjust settings on Falcon MFD Extractor, under performance tab, under Falcon BMS advanced button, and set the BMS Installation Folder (c:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1), but when in game, the gauges didn´t work. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to do some other adjustment (like external displays on Falcon BMS configuration?), so the sim can recognize Lightning´s MFD?

Lightning´s MFD
I would like someone explain me how to work with this app. I downloaded the latest version (6.1.1), installed the program, and I don´t know how to make it work. When I loaded the program, 2 MFD windows appeared on the top left of my monitor, but there is no GUI or instructions on how to deal with it. There are no more other gauges! When I load BMS, and go to some TE, the MFD´s don´t do anything because they are not binded to the sim! By the way I noticed that the app is a X-86 app, and my system is Windows 7 X-64. I don´t know if this is a problem or not.
Anyway, I need a full set of instructions on how to deal with this app (and if there is some instruction to be applied to the BMS configuration/setup to work with the app). I looked for some video in youtube, but I didn´t find any tutorial.
Thanks in advance -
RE: -Ice's Falcon BMS Helios Profile Updated!
Ice, I learned how to manage the Extractor, but I can´t bind the gauges to the sim, when in game. Do I have to do some special setting in Falcon Extractor and/or Falcon BMS(the sim) configuration?

RE: -Ice's Falcon BMS Helios Profile Updated!
Another question: how do I extract gauges to the second monitor, so they can run behind Helios?

RE: Translation
In Brazil, we speak Portuguese. But the spoken Portuguese is a little different from the one spoken in Portugal. Like british and american English, it´s a matter of accent. But the written Portuguese is the same for Brazil and Portugal.

RE: Translation
Orsi, as a Brazilian guy and newbie in BMS, I´m very interested in your documents. As soon as they´re getting ready (and you get the green lights from the authors, of course), please open a sticky post in Documentation area, with links to them! Thanks for your effort!

RE: -Ice's Falcon BMS Helios Profile Updated!
Thx very much! !
A few more questions:
1- when I load your key file in Helios profile editor, may I load another key file IN the simulator setup? That´s because I´m using a Saitek profile, and it has its own key configuration……
2 -I have 2 monitors (non touchscreen): the main is 1920 x 1080, and another one 1680x 1050. Helios runs on 1680x 1050 (i resized your profile). The problem is that I set the highest resolution possible on SETUP (1920 x 1080), and when In GAME, the mouse cursor can´t access Helios in the smaller monitor! In DCS I overstretched the resolution to 3600 x 1080, and my cursor can access Helios. However, there is not such option on the resolution list on SETUP (I can´t set any resolution I want!). How did you solve this problem? -
RE: -Ice's Falcon BMS Helios Profile Updated!
Hi Ice! I´m having a problem with your profile. I put all the files in the specific folders according your instructions. When I open profile editor, load your profile and try to add falcon interface, there is not falcon option on the list. If I don´t load your profile and try to assemble a profile from the scratch, there is no problem when I access “add interface”. Falcon is there! So, what am I doing wrong? One very interesting thing is that I use an A-10C profile (LOZ) in DCS, and I didn´t have any problem making it work!
