TM with their infrastructure being what it is with one step could just make one stick with plug in mods and be done. rather than 5 year 1 step at a time sticks with that they could just concentrate on quality and mod options but this may be the very thing that will
dethrone the king if they don’t start to think outside the box because company’s like Logitech are working on things that will compete with TM sales while they are the best right now competition for the market place is growing.
The Saitek x-65 was that close to being on par with the warthog but the Quality / Software shortcuts killed it a mindset of greed over quality will do that to you every time. the money people spend for your product is an investment in you if you go cheep with your product you will loose the investment. think about it.
While i agree that more sticks to the warthog base would be great, the niche for sticks right now is not anywhere close to being big enough to continually pump out stick after stick without programs to back it up hence the release hand in hand with dcs hornet.
As far as the x-65 being ‘close’ to the warthog, its not, its a distant ( and i mean distant) 2nd or 3rd place.
