Are YAME Callbacks coupled to actual Callbacks in BMS? Reason I am asking is because Yame does not recognize all of my input devices, (I have 7 Bodnar Boards working, but Yame only ‘sees’ 4 of them… I onlu use the Map of the CP60 and would like to couple zoom in/out and NUP to some analogue switches in my simpit.
Hi all, just wondering, is there a way to resize the HUD, irrelevant of the screen view, so via config or so. I have a beamer and fly with an enlarged view in the no2 screen (100 Degr). Problem is the HUD is very grainy and small, just want to customize it without having to zoom in or out. (Hope that makes sense)
Cheers, Chris
Right, I need some help from the people out here who (unlike me) actually understand computers. Yesterday BMS was working fine. Today I tried to start BMS, but after showing the initial title screen, which then disappears, nothing happens.
When I try to start Yame64, I immediately get a warning “UNABLE TO LOAD CONFIGURATION FILE”
Is there a quick fix to this problem? I am using W10 64….??
Many thanks, Chris
Managed to get it done, but it needed two changes, set the defaultFOV to 110, and in the same file, further down there is a maxdefaultFOV setting, which is set to 80, when I changed that into 110 as well it worked!!! I am using a short throw beamer with a 100” screen, so a higher FOV feels more realistic as I am quite close to the screen.
I normally fly with the no2 screen on, having widened the FOV to 109.99999 angle in the aircrafts cockpit file. Is there a way to widen the no3 screen as well, so the screen I use when having the TIR shows a wider FOV as well???
Cheers, Chris
Any workable POH map for yame64?
The WDP one does not work for me reducing size.
Same request here, cannot get the normal map working, even if I downsize, would love a map for POH……HELP US!!!
Nope, doesnt work, and if I downsize it to 2048x2048 it somebow only shows the right top of the map.
Hi All, absolutely great theater and scenery in POH!!! Just a question, I am looking for a good map to incorporate with YAME, to use on the CP display, does anyone have one or know the location???
Cheers, Chris
Bedankt!! I opened it in the wrong format which makes it look like garbled klingon writing, Wordpad did the trick!!!
Hi all, I am trying to set up the digital HYD B gauge and follow the instructions Ice gave a few threads back, but where is this file located???
<hydpressb><width>84</width>
<height>83</height>
<posx>1640</posx>
<posy>837</posy>
<visible>true</visible>
<window>RIGHT SCREEN</window>
<type>default</type>
<digital>false</digital></hydpressb>Change “right screen” to whatever your window name is and you should be good to go.
Yep, you are right, it is Singapore! There are some pics of USAF F-15’s carrying the AIM-9X on Google but they are all from Test or Evaluation squadrons (at least the ones I found). I have loads of my own pics from Lakenheath F-15E’s, all with the older models though.
Thanks Nikos!!! I’ll use the map with the airports on it. I already figured out the size should be. 2048x2048 in png format, so I resized an the normal map. I also just renamed it ‘korea’ in Yame and then it just loads the right map. Still not sure how to get a map called ‘nordic’ to pop up in Yame, but this works. Really like this theater, nice scenery and not too fuzzy!!!
I want to upload the map for the Nordic theater into Yame64 (Korea and Balkans map are already there)….could anyone point me where I can find this file in BMS??? (And how would I properly add them to Yame)
That will in fact work, but it gets untenable when you have multiple panels worth of switches using release state programming. I recommend np++ for future forays into editing. YMMV.
Well, luckily I only have one ON-OFF-On and two ON-OFF switches in my pit, so not too much trouble, rest are all ON-ON-ON etc……
Thanks for the tip though!!! Appreciated!
Well, I did read it, but not well enough, found the part in the beginning where it says “DO NOT USE BMS”……apologies!!!
Got a workaround though, just change buttons in BMS, save, then open keyfile in editor and add the extra lines at the end of the keyfile…works now…
Why does BMS insist on cleaning up these lines btw…? Surely this can be changed…
Right….bit of a mystery here. When I add the extra lines to a Keyfile, copy them to my config file and load the keyfile in BMS, it works perfectly. However, if I then add a callback via BMS Settings menu and save the Keyfile, the added lines mysteriously disappear in the Keyfile…??? Ummmmm…?!?
So this is in the keyfile:
SimRFNorm 310 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “MISC: RF Switch - NORM”
SimRFQuiet 310 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “MISC: RF Switch - QUIET”
SimRFSilent 310 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “MISC: RF Switch - SILENT”
SimRFNorm 179 -1 -2 0 0x0 0
SimRFQuiet 179 -1 -2 0x42 0x0 0
SimRFQuiet 180 -1 -2 0x42 0x0 0
SimRFSilent 180 -1 -2 0 0x0 0
Now, after editing the ILS toggle button in BMS and saving the Keyfile, only these lines are left…
SimRFNorm 310 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “MISC: RF Switch - NORM”
SimRFQuiet 310 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “MISC: RF Switch - QUIET”
SimRFSilent 310 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “MISC: RF Switch - SILENT”
For some reason the other lines are automatically deleted from the Keyfile…
Got it working perfectly now. The DX-1 for the callback was the best hint!!! Thanks everyone, very happy!!
