How to properly uninstall bms 4.34
I see bms 4.35 is out, and want to uninstall 4.34. I had someone on here help me install it on windows 10, as the original installer would crash the game all the time. I now also use the alternative launcher. I read on forums to just start up your bms4.34 .exe file, and click on Uninstall, but I am not seeing that. Not sure if it is because I am using the alternative launcher or because of the fix I used to install orginally. Can anyone help me figure this out, step by step?

RE: A Guide to Morphine’s Profile for BMS 4.33 and Beyond
With Morphines Profile for 4.33 and beyond, is the Paddle on the throttle just for centering TIR, and if held, turning off Auto pilot? Reason I ask, I am in the TFR training mission, and it says to use the paddle switch to cancel fly up. With this profile, what is programmed to do that function?

Refueling with Hotas Warthog
I have tried to refuel with my Hotas Warthog. The throttle control does not seem fine enough. With just a little movement of the throttle, I gain too much speed. Has anyone mastered it with the Hotas Warthog? Is there any way to adjust the throttle to give it finer control?

RE: Changing radio frequencies using presets in UFC
Ah, thanks Eagle-Eye. You are correct, that is what I did. I will put the preset in the scratchpad to the right in the future, and then press enter. Thanks guys.

Changing radio frequencies using presets in UFC
I am possibly having an issue when changing radio frequencies in UFC USING PRESETS. I dobber the highlight asterisks to the preset field, and use the rocker switch to change the preset number. The frequency for that preset shows up below. I then hit the enter switch . However, when I return to the CNI DED page, it shows the preset as number 1, and not what I changed it to. What am I doing wrong? I do have the switch showing UFC on the aux comm panel.

RE: A Guide to Morphine’s Profile for BMS 4.33 and Beyond
Hi Gastone. Is there a graphic showing the hotas warthog throttle and stick, and what each button does with your original modified profile of Morphine’s profile? Or is it the same as the graphic shown on the first page of Morphine’s first post on his profile?
-
RE: Morphine's Profile
Is there a picture diagram of the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog, showing what each button on the throttle and stick does in BMS, for Gastone’s updates to Morphine’s profile? That would be very helpful. Are they the same as the pics Morphine posted originally?

RE: Rudder/steering control on ground
That was it, the nosewheel steering. Got her started, taxied to runway and took off. All good, so far. So much to learn! That is what makes this fun and challenging.

Rudder/steering control on ground
I have Morphines profile enabled, and am using the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog. I also have rudder pedals hooked up. When in the Ground Ops training mission, if I start on the taxiway or runway, I can steer the jet with my rudder pedals, and stop with the toebrakes. However, if I do the ramp start, and then try to taxi out from my stand, my rudder pedals do not steer the aircraft. Looking from the outside view, they are moving the rudder, but they do not steer the aircraft. What am I missing? I am just getting started, so am a complete newbie!

RE: Windows 10 and BMS 4.34
Any coder with Benchmark sims able to look at my crash log and dump file in link above?
-
RE: Windows 10 and BMS 4.34
OK, here is the link to the crash and dump files, in a folder I called BMS. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AhiypntKj1JtghqbTlvAjboXcBJ8?e=OKqsMl

RE: Windows 10 and BMS 4.34
When I get some time, will work on uploading the dump file. Not sure what the Vcredit diet are, but will look into that. I am a bit nervous about uninstalling video driver and installing an older one. The one I have now works awesome with Prepar3d v4.5 and DCS, and don’t want to mess that up. I did it once on Windows 7, and it messed up my graphics.

RE: Windows 10 and BMS 4.34
Who should I upload it to at Benchmark Sims, so they can analyze it? Anyone have an email or something?
-
RE: Windows 10 and BMS 4.34
all of my GPU drivers are up to date. I haven’t changed anything in my Nvidia control panel, and don’t use Geforce Experience. I downloaded and installed both U1 and U2 for 4.34. Still the same problem. How do I upload the crashlog dmp file, as mentioned in several posts above? I also tried with all my security features off.

RE: Windows 10 and BMS 4.34
I do not have a dx9display.dsp file in my user/configure folder in bms4.34.

RE: Windows 10 and BMS 4.34
OK, I figured I would try to see if the original Falcon 4.0 will play on my system. It does. So it has to have something to do with BMS 4.34. Here is my latest crash log, after I installed the DX9 runtime files.

RE: Windows 10 and BMS 4.34
@Greg
… just a thought… , have you installed DX9 runtimes ?
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
DX10/11/12 - Comes preinstalled on Win10 , but runtimes for DX9 have to be installed separately from that link above ,… IT HAS TO BE DONE for BMS as it uses DX9
still … I’m not sure is it the real problem … from crashlog report , indeed seems that some file(s) is/are missing
Download and install DX9 then we’ll see. - if it was already installed, nothing bad is gonna happen if re-installed again.
OK, I downloaded and installed the DX9 runtimes. Still no change. Not sure this game is going to work on my system.

RE: Windows 10 and BMS 4.34
I tried with and without the headset plugged in. Still has CTD either way. I do not have a forcefeedback joystick. Here is a thought. When I install it gets to a point where it has DirectX 6 listed, with a box to check. I have DirectX 11, so did not check that box. Could that be the issue? Also, if I do check the box, and it installs DirectX 6, would that mess up my DirectX 11? Wouldn’t want to do that.
