Ok, I think I solved it! It seems to have been the key combo, so note to self (and anybody else that’s changing the default key bindings and assigning them to game controllers) - don’t use key combos for the wheel brakes action.;)

RE: Wheel brakes key command
I’ve had the K key go sticky in the past, usually when I am pressing and holding it, say just prior to take off during the engine spool up, and press another key while still holding it. In these instances, another sharp press/release is sufficient to release the brakes.
Is it possible you’re doing the same, perhaps via a joystick macro or similar?
Hmmm, actually I am using a joystick to actuate the brakes yes, and the key combo for it involves two keys - Shift_-_I. Maybe I should try to change that to be a single key, maybe it’s something with the modifier key…

Wheel brakes key command
Hello guys, I am observing this very strange thing with the key command for the jet’s wheel brakes. It says “hold” in the key configuration settings and in fact what that turns out to be is when I press and then release the corresponding key the wheel brakes are being held down in the virtual jet. My question is how to make the wheel brakes function normally, meaning when the key is pressed the brakes are applied and when the key is released they are released. In fact that’s how it functioned so far, I don’t really know what happened recently. I’m sure I’m missing something here. :?

RE: Falcon BMS Alternative Launcher (Easy Setup, Keep Joystick Assignments)
OK, I think I get it now, I had to startup BMS after I was done editing the key mappings. Thanks, @chihirobelmo.

RE: Falcon BMS Alternative Launcher (Easy Setup, Keep Joystick Assignments)
You have to launch BMS to save keyboard mapping.
I don’t quote understand. You mean I have to launch BMS before or after I change the mappings in Alt Launcher?

RE: Falcon BMS Alternative Launcher (Easy Setup, Keep Joystick Assignments)
Hello, gentlemen, and very nice job to the author of the Alternative Launcher program! However it doesn’t seem to remember the key mappings I have set previously through it, i.e. when I assign keys to a particular function, close the launcher and then open it again, the key mappings are as they were before the change. Do you have a solution for this problem?

RE: IVC problems
IVC itself is muted in windows.
Ah, this I have not checked, thank you, I’ll look into that.

RE: IVC problems
From the BMS Manual page 84 (in your \Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Docs\Falcon BMS Manuals folder):
BMS needs UDP ports 2934 and 2935 to be opened/forwarded.
IVC needs UDP ports 9987 to 9989 to be opened/forwarded.Make sure the ports are forwarded to your PC first. If it never works then this may be the reason.
When you get into the UI test IVC (use F2 so that people flying in 3D don’t get disturbed) before committing to 3D.
If it happens in flight after you’ve tested in the UI, then the advice from Agave_Blue to turn your COMM1 (for UHF) and/or COMM2 (for VHF) knobs all the way off, then on again is what usually works for me too.
Tnak you for the reply. I have the ports that you mentioned open. I haven’t tried the thing with the COMM knobs though, will try it the next time me and the guys get to fly.

RE: IVC problems
Are the other players muted on their end?
I’m not sure I understand ‘muted’. I can hear them keying the mic in the begining and the end of their transmission but not their voices in between.
try cycling your Comm1 and Comm2 knobs all the way off, then on again.
I’ll try doing that.
i’ll ask around and see if anyone else remembers.
Thank you very much.
I have to mention probably that they don’t hear me either.
Do I have to forward any new ports? -
IVC problems
Hey guys, I’m having big problems with the IVC in 4.33.1, I can hear other flight members keying the mic but not their voices on the radio. What do I have to do to make it work?
