do a second test on Sand war campaign…
i control GUs to capture two key obj on Day 2 1500, the war doesn’t end.
it seems to be TRI file issue.BTW though ground operation is major offensive, morrocan GUs do not move toward the two key obj… only three assult infantry units moving toward Tindouf…slowly. I’ve to control some mechanized units to speed up the offensive…
Hi ccc! Sand war isn’t finished, sorry about that. Previous version that I had was much more detailed, but lost it in HDD burnout.
I can’t tell how many hours I’ve spent last year trying to tweak GU movement and the. TRI file, but no matter all the testing and tweaking, the ground war still keeps very slow.
If you can find out something about the GU slow movement, ccc1tw, please let us know, it would improve alot the campaign experience.
If suspect it has to do with the lack of proper linkage between the few city objectives big distances between, but still not sure.

That’s correct, one of the two Spanish carriers added in POH theater, along with R11 Principe de Asturias (no longer in active service).

Thanks Dee-Jay. But when I’m told to “taxi November Echo and hold short runway 36”, I can see from the airbase data where Echo is. Why the November though?
I always assumed the ATC is telling us to follow taxi to the northeast. Isn’t it the case?

Sorry to step in the middle of the peace talks :D, but it’s just to give my 2 cents.
During POH development, we have tested several times that, in fact, if any objective has more than 8 links (link #0 through link #7), no issue is detected during flight but, after exiting the mission, we always get a CTD.
Removing excessive links from those objectives solved the issue and was thoroughly debated some time ago.

That makes three of us, then!
I was unemployed also for some 5 or 6 months back in 2015, and by that time I was spending around 8 to 10 hours a day working on airbase development and other stuff for POH Theater.
Now, with current job, 3 little kids and a not-so-hobby-friendly wife :), and things get harder to dedicate some free time to continue with it.So let’s keep the faith and patiently wait until Stingray may present us with his so long waited Tomcat for us to enjoy.

@ViperDude - We still have some flickering in the air in the shelters. Some LOD issue?
Also we need a floor on this HAS like the one in LPMT no?Amongst many other things, yes. Especially time:D
Flickering issues are present for a very looong time. I think they’re related to graphical issues. Z-fighting and such.

Thanks, we’ll look into it. Could be that it may need an adjustment on the hitbox or radius values that might be causing the airplane to colide with it.

Today the F-16 have served in the Royal Danish Air Force for 40 years. The RDAF made two flights to celebrate this milestone today. We had our own celebration flight in S-RDAF of course. We did not have a 9 ship, but managed to have 8 aircraft in formation.

I’m assuming you’re running BMS 4.34U2, along with POH 0.8.1.We still haven’t updated the theater to U1/U2 standards, so there might be some issues that are not attended to.
Can you reproduce it and make a print screen, so we can take a look at which hangar you’re referring to, please?

Did you think I didn’t expect a backlash? You were told it doesn’t work, but you all thought you’d prove the Dev wrong… how did that work out for you, apart from wasting time?
Malc, if you were expecting a backlash, why did you write that post in the first place, since the “issue” was already worked out?? One can only take that as a provocation and an attempt to take this discussion one step forward…
No one here was trying to prove that any dev was wrong, where in the hell have you read that in the first place???
My original post was just to say to the OP that the arrester cable feature was not a new thing from U1, it already came with the release from 4.34.
And when I converted our 3rd party theater from 4.33 to 4.34 and saw the new PHD data for the carriers, I’ve made some tests on my own to see if it was possible to make the arrester cables work on the runways. Never pointed a finger towards any dev, never claimed to be smarter than anyone, never even said it could be done!!!
Now, is that a problem for you, what we try to make with our own free time?? Tough luck, mate!
If you’re a dev, then maybe you shouldn’t waste your precious free time trying to comment what we do with ours, what do you think?
Now, please, can we leave this at the party and beer stage? Cloud9 had already payed for the plane ticket, and the rest of the guys have arrived!:D
