Is there a way to move the game to a new drive? If so how?

RE: Falcon BMS Alternative Launcher (Easy Setup, Keep Joystick Assignments)
You could use Joystick Gremlin to combine axis’s and invert them as well as adding curves. A great tool

RE: Reshade with 4.33 U5
What folder did you select when installing it. Also which option DX9,10 or OpenGL? I use Reshade with dozens of other games and have not had any issues.

RE: YAME64 suite
I did a fresh install of BMS and a new install of Yame64 v 1.2 64 bit on a Windows 7 Pro 64 bit system. I also have the VisualStudio 2015 redistributable files installed (both X86 and X64). When I run Yame64 (admin) it crashes with a dialog box.

RE: Reshade with 4.33 U5
How did you get 3.4.1 working? I tried it on my Windows 7 Pro 64bit system and it will not load when I installed it.
Thanks for any help

RE: MFDE and 4.33U1 Poor Frame Rates
Actually all of the gauges and MFD’s are done by MFDE. Only a few warning indicators are done in Helios. Helios also provides the background mask. The Thrustmaster MFD’s are Velcro’d to the edges of the monitor so they can be removed when not being used for other sims. The MFDE gauges can be sized and moved to where you want simply by dragging. MFDE is so simple to use. My second monitor is a 19" running 1280X1024 as an extended display. I have a EVGA Nvidia 980 Superclocked card.

RE: MFDE and 4.33U1 Poor Frame Rates
I wa going to say that I have no problems with frame rate using MFDE. I wish all extraction apps were this good.

RE: HiTex textures
Since it is a paid for product the link needs to be emailed to you. Just email them with your information and they will send you a link to download it.

RE: HiTex textures
As far as I know Hitex is only the cockpit.
Note that I received and email from them and a new version is available for 4.33 U1 drop them an email for a new download link

RE: My updated simpit for Falcon BMS
I have my Stick, Throttle, MFD’s and Pedals setup in 4.33 U1 and now need to decided what I want on the button panels. Being a newbie to Falcon BMS I guess that will come slowly as I learn what is most important.

RE: Morphine's Profile
There is a SP/STP Toggle function on the Shifted TMS Hat. What Callback name would it be mapped to?
-
RE: NEXT/PREV STPT Callback Name?
Awesome thanks for the reply. I am using a Warthog Stick diagram for the layout so I guess that is what they mapped as a shifted function on DMS Hat
Another question
There is a SP/STP Toggle function on the Shifted TMS Hat. What would it be mapped to?

NEXT/PREV STPT Callback Name?
Newbie question and after searching here the manual and Youtube I have not seen an answer.
On the Warthog Joystick diagram it shows the Shifted DMS right and left as Next STPT and Prev STPT
What are the callback names for these? Or the equivalent key binds?

RE: My updated simpit for Falcon BMS
Actually I used the handle part for a custom left hand controller for use with Star Citizen, Descent Underground and some other FPSers. I bought an outdated Pro Throttle off Ebay and used it for parts. One of the hats was replaced with a mini joystick.I was asked to write up some details for my simpit so here goes (I have done this on other forums in the past but none are up to date).
When I set out to do a simpit after I retired and saw a demo of TrackIR the first thing I came across was Helios. After some research I decided on using the PVC pipe method for building the framework. I also got a 24" touchscreen monitor. I have a man cave of sorts and decided to build it next to my main PC desk. At first I used a client/server setup for Helios running my older game machine for the touchscreen. This worked fine until the touchscreen went bad and shortly there after the PC had motherboard issues. I then took a different approach after having used that setup. One thing I did not like was not having any tactile feel for the buttons. It seemed hard to hit a touchsreen button in the heat of battle. I already had a BU0836X card joystick card to use the analog input with pots for things like trim controls so I decided I would go with a button panel instead of spending money on another monitor. I also had a 19" monitor sitting around for use as a second extended monitor off my Nvidia 980 Superclocked card. The main monitor is shared between my 28" desktop and a 39" 1080p screen. Well I decided that 32 buttons were not enough so I decided to get a GP-Wiz40 joystick card for the right side and add 32 more buttons. I built the frame for the monitor and button panels out of MFD wood that sits on my simpit table/frame. I found some nice rectangle illuminated momentary push buttons on Ebay for around a buck a piece. Also found some mushroom emergency type buttons as well as rotary ones. I mounted these to some black 1/4" plexiglass drilling the holes with a step drill. I was a Computer Applications Engineer working in a test lab for Ford Motor and built many test systems over the years so wiring the buttons was not a big deal. I use Xpadder and its Autoprofiler for a lot of the button to key conversion. I also designed a hard card stock button label system since I use this for many sims. They slip over the buttons and are easily changed.
My wife bought me a Thrustmaster Warthog set for a retirement gift and I built an extention for it which helps with precision as well as reducing the efforts on the wrist. I also use Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals (before they cheapened them).
Recently I added a couple Cougar MFD panels which are velcro’d to the sides of the 19" monitor so they can be removed when not being used.
Software wise I use the latest version of Lightnings MFDE Extractor version 0-6-1-1 for most of the gauges as well as the MFD displays. I have used Helios for a lot of gauges for Falcon BMS but find the MFDE ones work well. I have several interations of screen designs and this one is just the latest version.
This winter I decided to add a tactile transducer and seeing that Buttkickers are almost impossible to find in stock I decided on using an Aura with a Dayton Audio 100 watt amplifier. I have to say this adds a lot of immersion to many sims.
So overall besides the Warthog my setup was reasonable in cost. It might not be as realistic as some pits I have seen but I really wanted one that was universal to be used with a few sims. I only wish I was better at flying than I am at doing this. I did have fun building this (I had a great job and loved my career).

RE: HiTex textures
I have emailed them and talked to Eric who told me it will be updated when he gets the time. However he also said this
Until then the only way is to copy it manually to the new install, at least if an old install is still present.
I will try to find some time to address the installer change.
The content of this file:
Falcon BMS 4.33\Data\Terrdata\objects\KoreaObj
It contains all the .DDS texture files.
8001.dds – 8012.dds is the F-16C cockpit
You can copy and paste these to your new install into the new install’s: Data\Terrdata\objects\KoreaObj dir.
If you want to know which files are also HiTex III look into the E:\Falcon BMS 4.33\Data\Terrdata\objects\KoreaObj\Backup dir
Those are the backed up textures from BMS, and show you which numbers are changed by HiTexIII v1.3b
Regards, Eric
I have done this and it works fine and yes this is only for the cockpit.
