Sorry if this has already been covered but, i cannot open any of the 4.34 campaigns without an error saying that unit data is corrupted or something….
EDIT I just ran it again to get the exact phrase but it now loads the campaign files without a hitch.

RE: Poh hornet question
Hey Nuno it’s a beauty of a theater to be sure but oh man something is up with the hornets, in a 7 g turn i just keep accelerating and accelerating. Is there some files i can move around to test?
Thats an f18 with 12 amraam in a 7.5 g turn accelerating from 4-500 knots.

Poh hornet question
It seems the hornets have buckets of power, have they been modified or is it my imagination?

RE: Red Air Resupply
When i say adjust i mean re-write it;
#IF_SUPPLY 6 L 70
#DO_EVENT 16
#SET_MINIMUM_SUPPLIES 6 5000 5000 900
#ENDIFIm using #if force ratio now though

RE: 64-SEG Theater SEA Feature
Was looking for an entirely sea’y theater, thought it’d be a relatively easy job and fun for carrier ops and possibly some seriously long flights.
-
RE: Red Air Resupply
Truss.
So it’s working really well right now, the air war is balanced and resupply seems to be happening for both. Ive left the comp on all day several days running the campaign.
Instead of checking supplies, im now checking force ratios.
I’ve got to check the air lift by removing it and seeing what happens.Also fuel is seemingly irrelevant, would be nice to make that a bigger issue but so far have been unable to bring it down for either side.

RE: Theater for a fair fight
Hey Demer!
Well i’ve been editing the Israeli theater with Mission Commander (wow what a beauty that is!) and im pretty damn happy with the results;
As long as a side is resupplied ( Specifically, aircraft being Replaced) they are still viable, and that’s what im getting with my edits, now am i editing safely? Well that remains to be seen.
What i have done is use the tri file events to control the campaign, checking for force disparities and supply issues, issuing min supply calls to then bolster a team.
Now the air war is quite intense, it’s working nicely.
I’ve got to do an air lift test, remove all the air lift squads and run it see what happens.I think i remember DerStef saying he was working on red air ages ago, must have been FF? Are all the FF folks here now?
Cheers

RE: Red Air Resupply
I can’t believe this, this is totally unexpected but I’ve got red air supplying just like blue now.
Just did two iterations to double check.Both sides are replenishing squadrons evenly and on time.
I did a bunch of stuff with some things.
1)Allied Syria to Egypt
2)Changed Replacements for Egypt(red air) in Mission Editor : Teams -> Other tab, from 0 to 1000.
All teams have the same values for these variables so i didn’t expect it to do anything.Added a trigger in the .tri file;
For event 16 Timeout i just changed it to :
// Event #16
// Timeout
//
#IF_SUPPLY 6 L 70
#DO_EVENT 16
#SET_MINIMUM_SUPPLIES 6 5000 5000 900
#ENDIFDon’t know what the decisive bit was though.
Probably allying Syria to Egypt lol.

Theater for a fair fight
Hi all, i’ve been looking for a theater to fly as red but having difficulty finding one that gives them much of a chance (resupply and flight fragging quantity are usually the problems).
I wonder if there are any, in all my time with Falcon i’ve been irritated by the perhaps too realistic environment of thousands of amraams versus twelve MiG15’s and an irate farmer.
Thanks for any help.

RE: Red Air Resupply
Has anyone noticed that during the campaign red air does not reinforce? Does every campaign get to blue air superiority in a day or two?
Thanks.
-
RE: Red Air Resupply
I just tested again, after 5 days no aircraft reinforcements… Not good, not good at all! I have loads of airlift, but nothing seems to help.
I ran as blue air too and no change, they are still getting resupplied constantly while red air get’s zero aircraft.
I guess this is just how they designed it!? -
RE: Red Air Resupply
Right, that sounds nice and straight forward! I do have airlift at Cairo west which is 100%, are there any other factors which will affect it or do i just have to make sure i have plenty of airlift?
Thanks!
-
Red Air Resupply
So flying as red air it seems we are never resupplied…. Blue gets frequent aircraft resupplies, but not poor ol red.
I know some campaigns in Falcon are very one sided in favour of blue, but is there anything i can do to get my side supplied as often as blue?
I know i could open my save and manually resupply myself with mission commander, but that kind of takes the fun out of it.

How to choose which cockpit
BMS uses.
So i want to fly the Su 30M and change the pit to the su27 or even the one i found on the electronic battlefield site.
How would i go about doing that?
Thanks for any help.

RE: Crashlog - Selective Jett
No prob. Is there a reason i can’t jett my centreline fuel tank tho?
-
RE: Crashlog - Selective Jett
@RAM22:
Crashlog say’s: “PLEASE INSERT ANOTHER QUARTER TO CONTINUE GAME”……:-P
RAM22
Rofl, like the good old days. Where do i put it?
This crash reminds me of crashes in the past to do with non-F16 aircraft, using the systems of the 16.

RE: Crashlog - Selective Jett
Il try to reproduce, i have the same mission i can try again.
So yeah, MiG21 DCA A2A load, 2 radar two heat, if it matters i can get exact types.
First i was trying to jettison my centre tank but couldn’t seem to do it.Here’s the top part of the log, i think it’s too big to post (said something about cannot post - too little text(and it was a tonne));
