was clearing out some old videos and came across this beauty. It was made by Kinobe and the guys @87th during early BMS days. Likely it didn’t see the light of day except within the squad, so thought I’d share after Kinobe’s go ahead.

Apparently a few local falconites here want this mod pretty bad and have been pestering me about it for months. I tried talking them thru the LE process but gotta admit it ain’t an easy task for an average joe to really go indepth with this tool. Unfortunately I do not have the time to do such LE modding atm plus no point in doing the same thing twice. Can I hereby say a prayer for them that you share the mod with the rest of us?:eek:

I confirm. at the moment only the F-16D blk52 is messed up with the texture. ive used the D blk40 LOD for it instead, waiting for a fix on the D blk52
apparently D40 and D52 uses the same textures in default install…. so just use the D40 wings for 52 is good.
I must have separated the tex list myself to give some variety long time ago…

the nose can now be seen, also speed brake is at correct position.
includes the lau-129 launcher model from Janhas with 3902.dds
how to install:
0. file name includes parent number of the pit wings, i.e. C25_3106.lod, 3106 is the parent. Most importantly, BACKUP the folder “…\Data\Terrdata\objects”.
1. launch lodeditor, select CT #0 on the left pane. On the right pane, just next to the “normal” button, input 3106 at the text box. Click “normal”.
2. the parent record interface displays. Click the “1” button on the lower right pane.
3. LOD data interface displays. On the toolbar menu at the top, click “action” -> “replace model…”, locate the file C25_3106.lod and yes all the way.
4. Do the same for other f-16 versions. After that copy and paste 3902.dds into “…Data\Terrdata\objects\koreaobj”.
To be sure replacement is good, make a TE and make sure the nose is visible, the new lau-129 wingtip launcher is there.

you have to input the tower’s radio frequency manually or save it in the DTC… something new compared to f4af

lol do remember BOL… something like 640 chaffs on rails and 120 flares under belly. perhaps level non maneuvering adder dodging might work after all! O.O
i remember different flares vary in sizes, original data must have based on very large ones…?
btw iirc strike eagles have a couple more dispensers added?

well I actually prefer the pit without the pilot body so used LE to delete those nodes
no biggie really… nothing against harpoon’s great mod

so…. made a pair of wings model myself last night. this seems more like it!
sorry for the thread derail Pumpyhead……
regarding the nose in pit, i think it’s because the nose in the cockpit wings model got too bent downwards thus obscured by the cockpit
compared to the f-16 model
