New NVIDIA drivers

same here.GTX 650

Just installed the 350.12 drivers to go with the new Titan X SLI setup I installed. No stutters or wing rock detected with only V Sync enabled same as the 347.09 and newer driver testing I’ve done.

Simple way to avoid all of that mess would be to only install what you need when doing NVidia drivers. Since I don’t use the 3D or the sound the only things I install on my custom driver install is the driver itself and PhysX.
-
What uses even physx? Certainly not Falcon nor DCSW.
-
Installed the 350.12 drivers and the physX only. Default controlpanelsettings on my GTX 670. Falcon is silk, Dcs better and Arma3 good as candy.

I know it might be shocking but BMS or DCSW are not the only things that take up my time. I do play games like GTA 5 etc.

Same here, I’ve been using the drivers only install option for years and avoid running nvidia experience, too
I usually start with a clean driver install too so left-over tweaking experiments don’t affect the performance.

Not only do I do the clean install I also use Display Driver Uninstaller via safe boot to get rid of any traces of the old driver prior to installing the new one. Give it as much of a clean slate as I can.

Hello.
yesterday I installed W10, along the way I installed the latest 353.62 (29.7.2015), 64 bit with a GTX760.
They weren’t working for me. The loading screen wouldnt show (it would either stay stuck there, or just plain black) but the sim was running OK.
Reverted to my old ones (344.48). does anyone have a chance to try the new ones in W7 to understand if its an issue of the drivers, or just with w10?Thanks

On 353.62 WHQL Win 7 x64 and Falcon seems to be running fine for me, haven’t noticed those issues you’re experiencing.

I can report that with Windows 10 and the latest drivers 64 bit 29Jul15 Nvidia 353.62, a 30 mn fly worked very well with Israel campaign in 3D surround 5880*1020 (even better than before with w8.1 and nvidia drivers dated from more than 1 year).

Tya. Issue must be with my system then.

I can add the following point: No way to switch from 3D to 2D with the Nvidia shortcut. F4 BMS freezes and do not work anymore. Same issue with previous drivers and even the latest one with Asseto Corsa.
The following fix works sometimes: if it happens: press ctrl alt suppr and sometimes it reverts to 3D then. -

I do not know if you use bezel corrected resolutions, but here are a couple of tips that solved some issues with some games (namely pcars,prepar3d, CLOD) when switching from 3d to 2d.
Make sure your desktop resolution is the same that your ingame res.
For instance if you are running a 2D non bezel corrected desktop res of 5760 and an ingame res of 6050 with bezel correction, make sure that you set your 2D desktop resolution to 6050 before launching the game.
For that I use a small utility called Ultramon that allows the creation of different desktop resolution profiles and switching back and forth between them with a simple click.
I have created profiles for bezel corrected and non bezel corrected, single center display, etc.
It is payware, but worth every cent because level driver management of multiple screens is shitty on nvidia drivers.
Hope it helps.

Thanks for your suggestion Jcenzano.
Effectively I’m running sli nvidia GTX 670 on triple screen in 3D surround mode with bezel corrected: 5880*1080 at 120Hz. Unfortunately your suggestion is already somehow applied as I use exactly the same resolution all the time and for everything (for games, video, desktop etc.). I do not remember a game that will not support this resolution (except old games that I desinstalled or not reinstalled a few years ago: Janes FA/18 and F-15, EECH etc.)
It is not such a big problem (it becomes one if the mission lasts more than one and a half hour as 3D can become tiring after a while). I just wanted to mention what has changed for me since W10 and latest Nvidia drivers. -
New driver released: 355.98

Evrything looks better with last update. Falcon looks like never before.

Any objective fact to back your statement?[emoji12]
Having a 700 series it has come to a point that I don’t update unless I am sure the pros overcome the disadvantages.

I have a 750 Ti and updated to last version of drivers. Didn’t noticed that “beautifier”, but everithing works fine.
ps. I run Windows 10
