watch bottom loadout: Aircraft with 12 hardpoints (Su-35, Su-30MK, Su-33*)
and compare it to BMS loadout HP 11 and 12 are missing for A-ALook at Falcon again. There just not used for A2A

Never seen a RL pic with any A2A on the inside wing pylons. And a few years back I spent a lot of time on the Su-27/30
And on a side note , you can load 12 mavs on a F-16. Doesn’t mean you will ever see it happen.

Su-35 is not Su-30&33 and carrying so many AAM is totally pointless. Nothing is wrong with HPs.

Acording to posted source at least Su-35, Su-30MK are able to load 2 more heavy missiles.

LOL (so…just delete one A-A HP on your beloved F-15, it has enough!)If i launch first 4 AA10C salvo before merge and some missiles miss targets…I usually gain speed and distance meanwile (during incoming Aim120s defeat)…and I am ready for second engagement (to finish first 4ship flight or engage another one)…to have 4 fresh BVR missiles on pylons does make sense. And BTW it seems some lighter R77 should be doubled under fuselage…

…and on the side note…i suppose u know gripen ground stuff load inner HPs with Winders usually (letting wingtip free in police config)…due to lower G-load (airframe lifespan ect.)

I can Imagine to load only 4-6 heavy missiles on inner pylons and let the rest for R77/73….and it does make sense too

I still do not understand you.
1. Su-30 + 33 are not Su-35. Period.
2. On wingtip HP on Gripen is not AAM (except in Hungary I have no idea why) becase of the rollerons of AIM-9s and increased flutter and vibration load. This part of you commnent is simpy pointless and wrong.
3. In RL no AC would ever carry more than 8 AAM because except cruise missile hunting is totally pointless but even that case also because it is much better to have extra CAP time by fuel tanks than +2/4 AAM. Super Hornet is capable to carry 14 AAM. Does it have sense? No, not at all…
HP are fine especially considering AI and ATO issues. Why comes the time when people realizes that allowing all possible confing is worng idea in Falcon in many cases…?

I did for my purpose.
I consider this light config with 10 missiles usefull (I had heavier, because I do not use ARH, but SARHs only…its more challenging)

possibly yes… but i think the weigh and drag of Hornet’s HPs are making it rather useless (it is much smaller on Su, making it quite ok)…
and BTW there are no BAGs for Flanker in BMS…IIRC there was rather only a centerline bag on few Flanker pictures I have seen - making these inner AA pylons even more usefull -

My friend Molni, you REALLY THINK that you can load a plane with whatever loadout you want, wherever you want it in its hardpoints, and send it to takeoff just for “Public Relations” in the name of taking photographs and giving food to Marketing Directors???!!!

So does it make sense to you why they spend almost 3 million dollars for testing this configuration to cray supercomputers simulations, wingtunnels and rl flights within 1.5 year, together with the Super Hornet radar and sms software code rewrite to adopt this? Just for “PR”???

IMHO it is more than obvious that there is a huge luck of tactics and air superiority / dominance doctrine here…

Its pointless. In RL there might be a desirable place for “Missile trucks” in a world of Sensor fusion but in the sim we fly its wast of fuel.
F-18c which I love flying, even with a tweaked AFM I never bother with more then 6 long and 2 short. any thing else is a quick way to die.
Same goes for the SU-27/30 with a full load of A2A and jammers, (that’s one on each wing tip) its loiter time and break performance are seriously compromised. By the the time you get two shots off, support for a minimal period, turn and burn, extend and come back around to wast that last F-16/15 you don’t have a lot of fuel left for sight seeing.
And please remember In this sim many of us are interested in aircraft and capabilities/performance that is based on reliable/credible documentation. We fly in a world of yesteryear.

Personally, I’d rather have 4 long and 6 short…two engagements and it’s probably more than time to head home. But if I screw up and get in the short game, I want my A game there with me.

Then u are not “former” Flanker pilot Shadow. I do not agree with you. There is nothing bad on two aditional A-A Hpoints according fuel consumption and maneuverability. I like to fly 90ths, but why not to try new Su35 or 30MKI from time to time….especially with my multitarget SARH capability…

A preview of the skin… im not so happy with it cuz the template wont let me do it exactly how it is in real life so im making in it the best i can… however model is great…
Still have an issue with afterburner and lights… i think im missing a skin…
