More variants and more skin? I have not “installed” yet. Are the AIM-9 stations separated HPs from inner underwing HPs?
Molni As JanHas answered in an e-mail i send him, there is no planned variants for now. His models are very good but he uses the old arming stations. So no its not seperate as i did in edits of the ccc’s models. I think hes based in the default models but added some more details and of course more polygons, they now have new working engine nozzles, accurate working flaps and slats,detailed wheels and wheel doors, airbrakes and new performance data (more accurate i believe). The rails for the sidewinders come with different lod using the inner pylon hardpoint. though its not difficult for me to make them “one” with the pylon but i have to ask him for his license to do that. Ill send him an e-mail tomorrow

Because… more textures requiring more API draw calls, so less efficient. Maybe later techniques will allow the restriction to be removed, but for now it is what it is. But people that build new models, better do it already with a single main texture… you can see in 4.33 the Harrier, the Rafale, MIG-23, MIG-29, MIG-25, any of them lack skinning details you think?
Two main factors in skinning is level of detail (rivets, markings, text, wear, etc) and resolution. What I’m talking about here is the resolution and there’s only so much resolution from a single 2048. I made a texture mapping for a plane and i had to resort to separate files for different parts in order to maintain resolution and quality. The difference was clearly noticable.

U can use 1 sheet of 4096x4096, should be enough for a single AC.

At this moment there are no more variants planned. I’m now working on other models. Eagle611 released last year a high detail F-4E with HAF/TuAF skins. I did not download it but you can ask around if someone does have the model.

Yes i know…. i have some of his models… and also except the problems also unlicensed
Anyway i started allredy and im doing some tests… i have i plan in my head how we can use Jan’s rails and only if aim-9 is loaded… -
Molni. Is there any way to make falcon read both lods of the rails? It only read the left…. I have some ideas but im not home now to test them

LE somehow can’t open some LODs. I do not know why. I do not know any way to fix, I’m not maser of topic. My LE skills ends at importing functional LODs and changing skin sets.

Good day guys, Ive been struggling to find a solution to the “invisible” landing gears; Ive gone thru this thread and I couldnt see one, perhaps I missed it but if someone could point me to it thatd be great.

Did you replaced the .dat files? Therefore i suggest to make a coppy cause if you dont have the originals you wil not be able to connect. In my zip file in every Folder there is the dat file for the aiplane you wanna change. Go to c:\ (or whatever drive your BMS install is and in C:\Falcon Bms 4.33\Data*the theater name you want*\Sim\acdata\ and copy-paste the dat file. I had the same issue in th 4.32 but when i copied the dat file all good thats why i include it in the folders
